Hello Hi, I have a Mazda RX8 and I want to replace the engine with a 5.3 LS. I have a GMC Yukon that has that engine, but I don't know if it's a good idea or what you would recommend.
To fix the problem is to use a metal or brass washer or whatever it's called to stiffen the play,but very good job, I now know what to do with my own shifter relocation. Keep up the good work
I just got an RX8 for free and I'm already a custom fabricator so I'm doing this same swap. After seeing a lot of them I think it might be easier to run only the ECU for the engine and completely gut ALL the Mazda wiring and rewire the whole car. Replace the factory dash and just run a race pack gauge's. Get rid of factory steering rack and run aftermarket rack. One ECU under hood, one fuse block. And air conditioning! I live in Texas!😂 I watched a a few of your videos and thanks for head's up on some of the issues and the information!👍
I have this supercharger in my old set up. The rotors actually do turn from the vacuum of the motor. When u engage the clutch it spins faster because it matched the engines revolutions. If u look at the clutch set up u can tell it is spinning and not sitting still. Compare it to the ac compressor u will see what I mean. It spins when the clutch is disengaged just not as fast. I guess u can compare it to a chain on a bike where u stop pedaling and the wheel still turns slowing down until u pedal again. The suction from the motor will turn the rotors. Still a bit of a restriction but not as implied in the video
I have a supercharged Matrix. Boosted, these things are insane to drive. My vote is for Matrix. Lots of turboed Celicas, but not too many boosted Matrix's. I actually plan on converting to 5-spd AWD with a host of other Toyota parts, build the engine and transmission, then add a turbo to make it twincharged. It should be epic.
Hi, I been gifted a wonderful mark 6 vw TSI 1.4 with a knackered seized engine. I’m thinking about doing an engine swap possibly with the S3. What would be the easiest engine swap for this car, preferably with the same mounts and bolts. Please advise

Yea man, i have powerstops all the way around my Kia Soul and i am doing a Ls3/6L90E swap in a 03'Crown Vic Police Interceptor that i will be using Powerstops all the way around until i can do the Wildwood big brake kits for it. Cool deal brother!!! Thats alot to keep track of.
