I've been on a Turmeric Rice kick for the past couple of weeks for some reason and I've found that my blood glucose has been lower than normal. I'm not going to complain about it and I know my doctor won't complain either. My glucose meter normally reads in the high 90's to low 100's but this week I've had readings as low as 81mg/dL(4.5mmol/L). As much as I ate if it was plain white rice I would have been up around 120(6.66) or higher.
