Why have you uploaded a TOmmy emmanuel clip that you cant comment or add to a playlist? This one ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ns2XTPKt9HY.html
@@johnholland723 I play finger style. I’m 77. I learned at folk festivals, listening to Elizabeth Cotten and Mississippi John Hurt and Gary Davis. I had never even heard of Merle Travis. I did know about Chet Atkins. I did not know about all these other players until six years ago when I started playing with FL snowbirds in a trailer park who come from KY and Indiana and Canada. RU-vid has changed my musical life from when I was 13 and buying sheet music at Presser’s in the next town over in PA. Pressers was a sheet music printer and publisher. That used to be a big thing! And record stores with listening booths where you could buy opened records with finger prints on them.
Thank you very much for sharing this epic performance of Tommy Emmanuel. Respectfully, It didn't take place in 2006. It was released in 2004. This performance is the first time I was introduced to the great Tommy Emmanuel. The Maestro. The Legend. My mom found it on PBS and told me I had to watch it. Life has never been the same since. Thank you, Mom, and Thank You Tommy for bringing me and so many people so much joy.
Would love to see Tommy Emmanuel cut heads with marcin patrzalek. I don’t see why they haven’t already. Marcin, is the only one can keep up with Tommy, at full throttle. Most terrifying acoustic shredding. Nobody plays like that. Jaw dropping skills.
