Hello, do you have the part nr for the updated shifter joint? I also wonder if you have secured (using wire with small drill holes) or checked your oil pressure relief valve since you got the bike? I see that some people are really unlucky, if it comes lose it can destroy your engine.
your shift rod is about 1/2" too short - looks like!... the shift linkage arm needs to be near 90 degrees angle / straight out to the side in relation to the foot lever direction for proper shifts to happen! (foot lever angle and shift linkage angle should look in "parallel" - not as you have it here!) (fyi!)
Hey, yeah, I know the rule of thumb is perpendicular/90 degrees for the joint/shift rod connection. However, with the aftermarket rearsets, it's rather better to have it at the angle I show in the video; where I have equal amount of travel for up and down shifts. But yeah, you're right, however, it's also a general baseline/recommendation, not an obligation to your shifter setting. at the end of the day, if it works, it works; it could be rider's preference too. once again, thanks for your feedback, really appreciate it and I hope others read it too! 😁
honestly... no, i dont feel the difference... compared to my previous bikes that have had the shift support. but it looks cool and adds a good red accent to the bike hehe
I love it! Have a 21 zx6r. I love that but that rc660 and your bike have much better tech. Better brakes. Better comfort. 2 yr warranty vs one. Best is the price ❤ next bike rc660
the problem is with how much force you are applying when you are shifting....apply just enough pressure to "crack" an egg instead of trying to s "stomp" a cockroach
