Hey , so I have visa interview on August 12th Hyderabad consulate, I have a gap year too . I have prepared and gave an TSICET exam which is for MBA and MCA done within India . But I didn't get into the college which I really wanted to. So I then changed my plan to masters in US . ho do you think I can explain this to the officer? This has veen bothering me for a while now
See, since your main reason to shift to abroad was beside you didn’t get into your desired college here in INDIA So of course the answer will be a fabricated one : You can say that instead of giving the exams again I somehow got to know about universities in the abroad and specifically the USA ;how good the scope of education is for my course and then I enthusiastically started to shortlist universities and eventual got into____ and chose____ , and now I believe that whatever happens , happens for a good reason because the opportunities ,experience I will be gaining for my course in this univ(mention name) will be unbeatable and unparalleled. Also , officer it’s safe to say that the application process for the university in the US is very self-understanding ,and engaging. You will have to basically sugarcoat it a little to convince VO

You can form your answer that why you chose this university on the basis of the following things- On the basis of the curriculum like how good it is and how it aligns with your thoughts aspirations and future goals The faculty member / professor - you should include this strong point discussing names of 2 distinguish professor who have mastery in the area of your subject - strictly to your subject only and you are keen and excited on taking hands on experience and guidance from them Third , you should add -what special and unbeatable opportunities you university is providing you which you weren’t getting at other institutions Like in my case (just for reference do not add this in yours) UMD’s proximity to Washington DC is providing me research opportunities and field trip to the country’s capital so I had a very concrete reason as to why I selected this college . You can base your answers on these points it shows you have well and thoroughly researched and studied your university and then selected it for studying.
However your question is not very clear to me that you are asking me ‘ what reason should I give to the officer for only applying to 1 university’ or reasons for ‘why you chose this university’ I’ve answered you on why this university Because I don’t know why you applied to only 1 university, it’s you who would better know the reason

I believe you have done the courses right ? Don’t take in a wrong sense ,I’m asking because there’s a high chance that when you say I’ve been doing courses then the officer might ask you what course you did and what you learned so you will need to elucidate the topics at the moment . The answer which you have written is fine - emphasise more on the COURSE you did it gives a more of academic essence in the answer .. rest about the English proficiency and application process don’t add this in the main answer , rather say it in the very ending- last line of the answer just as an auxiliary / supporting point to the answer . @@harshavardhananupoju5350officer , I’ve invested my year in doing courses of python like ____ ( mention whatever course you’ve done) , to understand and equip myself with the terminologies and concepts of coding ; this helped me in taking some complex yet breath-taking experience about the subject and moreover , I’ve also been engaged in preparing for exams of English proficiency. No need to say about the application process because that is a general thing and everybody does that , it doesn’t justify ur engagement Neither effectively nor academically. And no need to unnecessarily lengthen and complicate the answer , officer’s get convinced if you answer confidently Hope this helps !

The NET worth paper which is evaluated by CA , it contains your property(collateral), car and gold stuffs This is where u can mention ur assets and carry it with proper wording and stamping

Hey, you can justify it academically like in my case I’ve been doing courses on economics which effectively consumed my 8 months , so similarly u can also say something like that if u don’t have concrete reasons for a gap You simply have to justify that you have been doing something effective and academically sitting at home 1 year and not just chilling. So depending to your profile you can answer.
If you have any personal reasons then u can say that also , however pls REFRAIN from LYING to the officer because they interpret that something is fishy so that will create trouble for urself only
I have a sanctioned loan from Avanse. People saying Loan from Avanse is the red flag for the interview. Is that true or can I go comfortably with a loan from Avanse
I don’t have idea about it , but as far as I know it’s a non banking / private company that provides loan ; if it’s genuine and have given u an official statement of proof with proper STAMPING that -we have approved( or processed) ur loan then I think there’s not a problem in that because there are various private companies and non banking corporations that do provide loan apart from govn/ private bank So if u have proper legal proof of ur loan stamped by the company then I believe there’s not a problem in that
I’m transferring from science background to economics background so I don’t have any prior experience in the subject so as to succeed at my undergraduate and be at par with my pears I enrolled myself in courses for economics to learn more about the subject and gain experience I’ve actually done 2 -4 months course which together made up 8 months and rest I was into handling exams like ielts and sat However, she did not go into that much detail and was convinced by the answer I gave. It can be a loop hole but if u tackle with confidence u will come out smooth

No she just approved it Here are the steps on how u can track your visa - After approval Go on the ceac govn site ( 1 day after ur visa is approved) U can fill your details there in the visa application status , firstly it will show approved but after 3-4 days it will get get ISSUED and once the status is changed to issued u can login into your cgi portal and track ur passport accordingly or put ur UID number in the reference no. Column of blue dart u can do real time tracking from there also . This is for premium delivery For pick-up you will receive email regarding when the passport is ready to fetch it
Hi , yes it’s a red flag ; u should show ur strong intention to return to ur home country , if u say I’ll do masters also there then this will give them an essence that u are a potential immigrant and that may lead to a rejection Ur aim should be just to complete for whatever course ur going and return back

Hey, Hi! Thanks I did mentioned it in the start of the video however, my unw gpa is around 3.7-3.8 more towards 3.8 .. ( exact is not known since different websites cater to their own way of calculating gpa) And SAT is not that high it was average 1200 .😊

That’s because the 12 colleges to which I applied had their acceptances rate between 30-50% I did not apply nor did I wanted to put the application to a college which surrounds its acceptance rate less than 20 or 30% ; I was determined and very clear which places I want to apply and where I want to go at the final and my potential was known to me so that’s why I was very realistic throughout the process rather than being delusional and dreamy Moreover , the acceptance rate which u r talking about is the general rate which always fluctuates every year , I am majoring in economics which is evidently easier to get in as compared to engineering and IT programs UW Madison ,purdue and Uwash Seattle are one of the top universities across the US to get into Secondly UW Madison ranks at national 14 for economics so naturally I’ll be selecting the university which has the best fit for my course right ? UMD penn state are also very good when it comes to economics So what’s my fault if their acceptances rate are higher than 40%🤷♂️ So it’s wiser to examine the structure and scenario before taunting someone on their crucial step. For me and my family it was a pure success , if u feel it’s not then that’s not my problem :) Thank you !
