allnurses.com is about you. The nurse that craves knowledge. The nurse that wants to expand their career. The nursing student who wants to pass the NCLEX. The retired nurse with vast experience who desires to interact and share with others.
allnurses.com is about helping you become a better nurse.
We do not offer medical advice. We do not provide legal advice. What we offer is a place for nurses to be themselves and to learn from others. We offer students a place where they can better understand nursing, gain study habits, gain knowledge that they would not have learned in school.
I can't trust unhealthy people with my health. If you can't take care of your own body, I don't want you doing anything with mine. I don't go to Casey Anthony for parenting tips.
It's the "patients will be sicker, and stay less" part that really gets me. The rate of of readmissions I've seen b/c the hospital wants to push the pt out as quickly as possible, treat the symptoms but not the root cause, or completely ignore non-chief complaints that may point to a bigger issue is frustrating!
I took the NCLEX today and finished with 85 questions. I tried the pearsonvue trick and it automatically gave me the "you are booked" confirmation. which does not have the good pop up or bad pop up that you shared. I must have failed
I've been wearing Zcoils since 2008. I have heel spurs. I got the idea from the hospital. Nurses were wearing them. I figured if they could relieve their pain, Zcoils could help me. I was a school custodian. 😊
Maybe nurses should stop being so mean and catty, especially to the new nurses they need cause they are so short staffed. You should be targeting crappy preceptors
It doesn’t work! My advice is try not to unnecessarily stress yourself out if you don’t get a “good pop-up.” I took the nclex-rn a few days ago and tried this method. I received a popup that said “we’re unable to validate the entered payment card. Please verify all card details and try again.” My exam shut off at 85 questions but I was feeling not so confident, also had mixed feelings whether I did very well or very bad for it to close out at 85 Qs. Lost a night of sleep as well due to anxiety. 😂 Just found out today that I PASSED!!! Keep your heads up and fingers crossed everyone awaiting their results.
The mistake everyone keeps making is not using a real card with actual funds. You have to pay the $200 temporarily until it falls off. It was WELL WORTH IT.
@@striver1987 I used my correct credit card and was charged $200 then eventually got refunded. i also got "our records indicate that you have recently scheduled..." . Is that the good pop up?
I agree with what she is saying in the video. However, if nothing else it sets a bad example to be an obese healthcare worker. And if are giving a patient healthcare advice and you are obese and/or have bad habits such as drinking and smoking, than what is the likely that someone will take you seriously?
The answer is that they won’t. In fact there’s a fair amount of literature showing higher rates of patient non-compliance with medical advise from obese providers and nurses and who can blame them? Who are they to lecture us about needing to lose weight and stop smoking when they themselves are overweight and smoke, it’s blatant hypocrisy!
I tried on RexPN and did not like the wrong CVV for me, there is no message for me. I received this message. "We're unable to validate the entered payment card. Please verify all card details and try again."
I once worked with a women who was overweight she knew she was i never said anything but u can tell she was struggling to to help me roll patients and even bend over . It just made me think why not try to loose weight . Or try to .i just don't get it .
Hi guys, I took the Nclex RN on 12/19/2023 and I got the bad pop up multiple times. I ended up bawling my eyes out. Checked my unofficial result after 48 hours and I passed. Y’all don’t be discouraged even if you get the bad pop up multiple times
I did my Rex-PN on December 19 and got the bad pop two hours after my exam, 1 day after my exam, and two days after my exam. I believed I failed and when I received news that I passed at 11am, I was thrilled! I say this to say that, the pop up trick isn’t always right
@@rash9488 so longs you did your absolute best, that’s all you can bet on. On my second try, I studied my absolute hardest and worked very hard even when I thought I was failing. Even the night before I studied so hard and never gave up even when I wanted to. Hoping for the best 🫶🏾
Hey all. Just dropping by to say I got to 85 questions, felt bad about it, didn’t get a good pop up , but passed. You should be able to check with your nursing board after 48 hours for free. Good luck. Don’t stress too hard!
Shame on AMA for the way they treat their residents and doctors! No wonder so many good physicians are leaving this profession. You all on the top ought to be ashamed of yourself!
allnurses use to have an app on the iTunes app store. Now that app doesn't exist anymore sadly. OI do believe that this is a shame! A REAL shame! I mean, with that app, you could easily access the allnurses community, and do what you needed to do on allnurses.
How can you be sure to have the right fit with the same size on both the outer and inner gloves? The Rule should be always to don half size more as under glove and your size on the outer one.... In this way you cannot choose your proper size. Also, the risk of contaminating the outer glove is higher than a normal double Gloving technique
Took my NCLEX PN TODAY AT 12:30 test shut off at 145 questions, checked about an or so after and I got good pop up, just checked 7pm EST and still good pop up!! UPDATE!! I PASSED🎉🍾
I took my NCLEX-RN this morning and it shut off at 89 questions. I had a lot of NGN questions. I got the good pop up after 1 hour and then again at 3 hours. Im of course still waiting for the official results.

I have a special place in my heart for Nurses, Female or Male . These folks are saints. If I recall the man who died was hit by a stolen car, being chased by police. The truck driver was an off duty cop who did nothing wrong!!!! He did nothing wrong, neither did this Nurse !!!
I took the test yesterday,it shut off at 85. I tried the PVT Trick after 3 hours after the exam, got a good pop up,then i rechecked again after 10hours if the pop up is still the same, got a good pop up again. In just waiting now for the official result.

Took my exam today and super nervous, because I had 150 questions and used all my time. Did this Pearson Vue trick and showed me the good pop up. Hopefully I passed and I will update you all with the results.
Being blamed... Practicing in fear of losing your license... Being ignored by doctors... Not being told key policies and procedures... Dealing with patients seeking attention and placing irrational demands on you... Facetious co-workers who wanna match wits .... Lying about jobs and the way things go.... All of this is an example of a toxic work environment!
