My (real) name is Attila and I'm a guitarist / songwriter, and this is a fun and hopefully inspirational channel dedicated to tasty and meaningful guitar playing, and many PanterA / Dimebag related content among other original content.
Being such a HC Dimebag fan I decided to make lessons to ALL of Dime's solos and many riffs, so I’d launched ‘Play it like Dimebag’ video series to make these in-depth tutorials.
Quality over quantity for me anytime. Instead of playing fast shredding I'd much rather see Your Soul shine through Your playing. Playing any instrument is not a race, I believe it should be about having fun and maybe even share that with others if You will.
BANDS: Toured with over the years: NEVERMORE (US), SATYRICON (NO), SANCTUARY (US), TYR (FAO) Currently playing w/: Vulgar Display Of Cover PANTERA TRIBUTE / Strength Of Will (passive) Formerly known from my old band: Leander Rising
To carry on the Legacy of a hero, one must poses the power of 10000 legions. Attila shattered 3 alternate universes and traversed through hell to learn these licks.
Fuck. I bet it feels so good to be able to play Dime's parts on all these songs and not struggle the entire time.. Leaving mental to strictly Vibe to the music as it comes. I envy this man.
That was awesome. You should totally make this a yearly contest type thing where a patreon user or subscriber gets to do a play through with you. Would definitely add some unique content and hopefully get everyone watching and learning on top of their game. Greg did amazing from first note to last. Congrats to both of you on the opportunity to do something like this.
Happy to hear that! I did to collabs with Patrons, and they were super fun... that would be somthing Id wanna do again for sure, but doing these kinda stuff would also be fun to do more of! There's the interview part coming out, I think that will be very interesting at times even touching ;)
well, it’s a travel guitar with a full scale lenght ( 24,75 ) so it gets the job done. I know it doesn’t look impressive but it’s more about how it plays than how it looks right? btw. it’s a Hofner - Shorty ;)
