Lisa hi question. since you purchased this 6years ago. My question how is it working out after all these years. Does it still hold up well? I’m thinking of buying one but I’m worried it won’t last since I understand it’s engineered wood and not sold.
Quick question is there a bit of play in the minimum height? I want to install one in our basement with max height of 85 inches… just wondering if I can make it work
I just completed (4/30/23), putting a Queen Murphy bed w/2 attached bookshelves & dressers. It took me roughly (6) hrs from start to finish....easier then I thought! 🙏 The only thing I didn't do was removed the lower base board since I had the right spacers to offset the base board, to ensure/secure the Murphey Bed to the wall. I used (4) 4" wood screws I purchased to ensure the bed was secured to include (6) 3" wood screws - screwed at an angle over the base board to secure the Murphy Bed on the bottom.. Bed was level at all angles (Up & Down / Side to Side), using the spacers and not having to tear out the base board. Instruction were easy to understand and (all) the parts were sent in good condition. That helped with completing it in (6) hrs and (3) 🍺🍺🍺...! Cheers...!
BESTAR FROM CANADA BEDS CAN KILL YOU... MINE FELL OUT THRE WALL AND CRUSHED ME AND BROKE A $15000 GIBSON 1960 LES PAUL GUITAR. NEVER BUY FROM BESTAR!!!! BED CAN KILL YOU
Thank you for sharing your experience with Lundia Lisa! I'm wondering how you like the system and durability 2.5 years later? I'm looking for solid wood closet options.
Lovely video, well done. I'm looking to fit a similar burner to my boat and modify the chimney tube to also heat water by spiralling a copper pipe. Keep up your good work.
How high are the feet when opened? Was wondering how much space there is under that bed and if I can fit my 13” high foldable futon in the space underneath.
Fantastic job! So nice you showed how it can be done with kids and pets around. Very nice job. Were the electrical outlets difficult to put back on? This product is definitely the one I’m going with. Thanks so much. 👍
We used this on our fireplace. I didn't like the patchy look so I did German schmear and it looks great. We since sold that home and back to drawing broad with our next home.
Nice! Thank you. Their website was so overwhelming that I just closed out of it and moved on. But it showed up again because I searched for non-toxic shelving. I just wonder how the pricing is.. they make you really work for basic information. 😏
Lisa how do you keep the bed down, I feel like I missed a step somewhere I can pull it down but cant keep it down? I know odd question. What did I miss?
We have the exact same one but we cannot get the doors to attach. When we put the doors on the bottom of the door gets stuck on the bottom of the Murphy bed. Any tips? Please we are desperate!
do you think you could get away without screwing the base into the wall? i'd love to get this, but it becomes tricky for rentals when you mess with the walls
Lisa, did you mean "not fall down the stairs" instead of "now fall down the stairs"? I didn't seem to see it fall. Just checking before I attempt to allow my D6 near the stairs.
Hi Lisa. I've looked at this bed on the Bestar website and the assembled height listed on the website is 89.1 inches but it says that the anchoring wall needs to be a minimum of 91.1 inches. Based on your experience assembling this bed could you please explain why the extra space is needed? Thank you.
i got the same bed. but in your video. you made a mistake. on the legs. the long pole with the screws. when you open your bed in the video. the end of the mattress pops back in place. but if you put the pole in the middle hose. the mattress will stay in place when you open the bed and close it. i made the same mistake. but any way. your video way very helpful.
@@AuthorLisaRusczyk Thanks for the reply. If you have moved to new home then think of implementing some more compact furnitures. Wish you good luck Thanks to TEAM
