I love the rustic feel the old wood gives to a home, a mantel or an outside structure...as if your stepping back into another time. It gives a level of comfort with it's warm colors and texture you simply can't duplicate with stain on new wood. It takes alot of time to get there and if you find it and have enough, well I'd say you are a lucky dog.
