Would be really useful if part of the pre-installation guide specified stud-to-stud distance for outside bracket location depending on the width of the awning. There is likely a range based on the length of the support beam and any adjacent beam brackets.
Hi Michael, thanks for your question. The video demonstrates how to adjust the Advaning's Classic Series elbows when closed. As you can see at the beginning of the video at 06 sec. the arm elbows are not aligned when closed. The adjustment in the video corrects the issue. Will this awning allow rain between the wall & the awning. I currently have a door that gets moisture bc there is no eave above it. I was looking to install an awning to protect the doorway from moisture. Thx!
Hello Jeff, Thanks for your message. Advaning retractable awnings will all have a small gap between the wall and he awning. Unfortunately they are not made to the purpose you intend but for sunshade. ive mounted a few imdoing a 5m next week im sitting on some say 100mm x 20mm alloy angle on top of the brackets for mainly sun when rolled in , ill seal it to wall to stop water

If you don't have 10 vertical inches of clear space on the wall, can this be installed on the eaves? If I were to install it on the eaves, I would have 10 inches of clearance below the eaves. Looking at buying one of these.

Are you able to adjust one side of the awning ? I live on a hill, and when fully closed the awning is dead level, but when extended the awning slants to the right hand side. Thank you.
