Definitely the lowest end of cards. I collected them though back in the day. Considering the cost of pocket pages nowadays, don't bother putting these in them. Just finish your set, pack in a box and store. It's ridiculous that people are selling these for $50+ a box. I wouldn't buy one for more than $15 if I got any at all. At least the 90-91 packs have the chance of a decent Stanley Holo. Packs of 91-92 has nothing to offer, unfortunately.
A nostalgic set for me. The 90-91 UD set as well. I just started hockey card collecting in 1990 after my favourite player won the cup in 89. You showed him in that stack. 😃
OPC Premier would be better off for sheer value. But if you collect everything for the sake of collecting, it's all good. I remember having a bunch of those a long time ago before selling my entire collection. Getting back into it now though and totally regret selling! I had every rookie card from 1979 to 1995 except the big three(Roy, Gretzky, Lemieux).
I bought two boxes of Dollarama packs and ended up with five factory sealed packs of this. I got on average, one amazing RC from each pack. Got Jagr, Recchi, Healy, Modano and Joesph. Very lucky.
The Tracy McGrady is his rookie card. Nice one. Worth about $6-$10. Enjoyed seeing your cards, thanks. Are there any players or cards you are looking for? And no, i do not have a michael Jordan RC 😂
Hello!! new to your channel and here to check out your collection. thumbs up!! i used to get these when i was too young to play with them. i think my aunt held onto them for me. i love them for doing TTM with, through the mail autographs. my favorite player is Ron Gant out this set. later on and thanks for sharing. Jay
Good purchase for $2, they are probably worth about $10. Nothing too crazy. Just a note, that "glossy" pidgeotto card is absolutely FAKE. The best card in the lot (If real) Its hard to tell. Is the Magneton. It is a shadowless card, probably worth a few bucks on its own. If the back looks like the pidgetotto its fake for sure.
They're worth more than 2 usd but those aren't very expensive, the ones with the first edition stamp are worth a bit more. Worth it, high nostalgic value I'd say!
my bro and i have a bunch of these. We were adults when they came out and would go to the local convenience store on Sunday nights and buy a bunch of them. There was at least one insert, which I dont have but my brother does. It was a mail in for a card of the Championship Pistons. Dont recall why he has one and I dont as Im a serious collector and he was a casual one... maybe bc we were Bird-era Celts fans and hated the Bad Boy Pistons
