What a great adventure! It takes lots of courage to dive into a different life/culture/mentality/language… You will thank yourself for this for the rest of your life 😎
Can you tell me what happens after the landing (When you landed in Korea)? I know about the paperwork because of online sources and your awesome video! But I want to know if I have to get my cat checked in Korea airport or if I'm good to go?
Thank you for your question! So once you get to Korea, you can head over to the customs area and let them know that you have your cat with you. At the Seoul-Incheon airport, I believe this will be after the baggage claim area. Be careful, because it is very easy to walk past this section, especially if you already have your bags, but it’s basically where you would go if you have anything to declare. Once you get there, you will just show them the paperwork that you have :) please let me know if you have any further questions!
I was informed by DELTA rep that you can use your cat as a carry-on (which if your ticket includes a free carry on & personal item) which saves $200. But I'd triple check with DELTA.
I am about 5 or so years younger than you and especially after starting college (after being pressured by my parents) I started to feel really depressed and I felt like something was missing. I felt so lonely and trapped because even though my school was in a city I was still living in the suburbs with my parents so it honestly felt like I was still in high school. But next month I’m going to move to south Korea on the working holiday visa (H-1) and live there for 18months. I’ve visited Korea about 3 time and have collectively lived in Korea for about 7~ish months and I have to say, my life feels the most filled while I am living in Korea.
Good for you! I’m so happy you’re on the way to do something fulfilling :) I wish I could do this when I was younger tbh, there’s so much growth that has come from being here
It’s actually located very centrally inside Seoul. You can take the green like of the subway to Sadang station, and walk about 10 minutes from there to the trail!
