What would be really interesting in the metagame would be, ya know, if we could buy cards. Because I cannot even get the first set for less than double the marked price, so until I know that I am going to actually be able to buy booster boxes, I am not playing a game I would otherwise happily be investing hundreds and hundreds of dollars in.
Thinking of the recent news Pokemon dropped about their point system and world championship qualifying, considering how this season 0 of SWU is set up, it's so wild how "easy" it would be to qualify for the GC. Three years, five years, ten years from now assuming this game will continue to grow, it's going to be way more difficult to qualify, like how Pokemon had to recently restrict their qualifying numbers.
Mansions of Madness has DLC releases without adding any physical items. Would it be possible to create a new campaign just using what has already been issued?
It seems too easy to destroy the base if the only thing stopping them is a capital ship that doesn't have much health. Wouldn't the game end really quickly
Disappointed that no Official tours was announced for Europe. Going from Greece {My country} to USA for the Galactic is very expensive. Even if i qual from Planetary, i wouldn't be able to participate. And i'm pretty sure this will be an issue for many players from the EU.
Tldw: October is when the planetary qualifiers start at a local store, win one and u get auto entry to day 2 (anyone can just show up to day 1) of bigger tourney (somewhere) Point collection system doesn't start until 2025.
I feel like a lot of the information in this could have been cut down to a much smaller concise video. Seemed like a lot of leading up to big announcements but not really any details at all.
Please change the system with no point with a draw in tournment. This is a ridiculous system . Win : 3 points Loose : 0 points But draw : it’s not a loose , not 0 points , we need 1 point . Cause if my opponent win the the first part’ , why is my goal to play fast and try to win the second part’ to catch the draw ? And why we do give our list to opponent before game ??? What is the interest with surprise sideboard ??? Is only Good in top8 Please thinking about this 2 items , lots of complains in players community 😢 Thanks a lot 🙏🏻
I actually agree. I think they could make it where you draw within standings of the event but then don’t get points for the point system or each player only gets 1 point instead. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but there is merit to each player losing if it’s a tie. It avoids ppl ID’ing entirely. So I’m torn but think what you said might be better in the long run? Idk
@@marchodges5310I agree, but also now you have people.dropping since they might not get a top cut and their opponent could if they let them win, but both would be screwed if they drew. There are upsides to different ways of doing it, but more insight into this decision would be good.
They mentioned that you only share the decklists in the top cut. Not sure I am a fan of that tbh. I quite like open decklists. You can't really remember everything anyway and there is enough randomness imo due to card draw and even resource decisions
What about the availability issues and local game stores cancelling events? My entire area cancelled locals and doesn’t even sell the products because they can’t get any
The mapping is bad. Being able to map not only legendaries but also rares is kinda crazy. Don't get me wrong... LOVE THIS GAME! But I think that would help to keep the game exciting.
Would also love to see better support for quality control. I had an entire booster with every regular legendary/rare missing a holo stamp. Assistance from FF and associated companies has been less than helpful.
Idk if FFG has one planned, but I’m in the process of developing one for this purpose, as well as some other game essentials (life counter, rulings explanations, card scanner, live-price updates based on tcgplayer averages, etc). Still very early stages though, so won’t have anything solid for several months probably.

there official website has an card database to filter cards, you can build decks there + there is SWU DB to see "top" and "hot" decks of the community, and build your own deck, share them, and so on
You mean like dedicated mobile app? Now you can keep track of your cards collection, build decks and search from all cards (with filters also) on the website starwarsunlimited dot com, after you log in.

Can we get the rulings put up for Stolen Landspeeder/Han Solo interaction on the database. I'm still seeing people trying to say it works to get them the Landspeeder in play for free, even after showing them Tyler's tweet. Basically they interpret nested abilities and putting the current ability on pause incorrectly. For that matter, it we could get an article outlining various permutations of nested and triggered abilities with illustrated examples, that would go a long way to helping the understanding all around.
I feel so sorry for Fantasy Flight Games. Star Wars Unlimited is such a great game made with love and care and then there’s Disney driving the whole franchise to the ground right now… 😭
Between product shortages and then retail shops jacking prices up to sometimes double price for the product they do have, it's hard to actually play this game. It's a shame, because it's amazing.
Could we please get an official clarification on Krayt Dragon interaction with Devastator/Avenger? Per rules Krayt can't trigger its ability due to beign killed by Devastator's trigger (trigger rules 6.4 only allows Krayt Dragon's trigger to resolve if it's killed by an ACTION). As far as the rules states, playing a Unit as an action doesn't includes using that card's "when played", only putting it into play: Dragon on play Oppoment plays Devastator Opponent trigger D's when played, kils dragon Dragon is not in play, can't resolve trigger (6.3, 6.4 & 6.10 rules) Also, seems that now AMBUSH is now a "when played" trigger, so it seems to behave in the same manner...
Homie, Armada has been out for ages, what are they supposed to do with it, Armada had a great run and still has an active community. You can still enjoy Armada.
The vambrace flamethrower reads divide 3 damage, can I divide the 3 damage onto 1 player who has a shield? 1 damage to defeat shield, and then 2 to remaining damage to player?
Yet another great stream. Wish they would get rid of the naming convention by the job title though. They/them is for more than 1 of an item. As there is only 1 person present you cant use the plural. This woke rubbish is being pushed everywhere.
