One thing about Wisconsin. If you enjoy golf it is a very golf friendly state in terms ofgreens fees. Yes there are courses with high greens fees. But there numerous county and municiple fourses that are wallet friendly. And depending on the weather it is possible to play in every month of the year. Not every year. But it does happen..
Road construction is starting to reach farther into winter it seems. Spring can be really nice except if you are along the Lake Michigan or Superior shore lines. There is a reason the weather forecasts for along Lake Michigan always have a caveat tor temperatures. The caveat being "cooler near the lake". It is not uncommon to see a 10 to 15°F difference between the temps by the lake and even 6 miles inland in spring. Conversely temps are usually slightly warmer near the lake in the Winter. Unless the lake ice extends way out into the lake. Whoopee! Five below instead 10 below. The best season of the year is actually Fall. Temps can vary between the mid 50s to into the high 70s. I'm in the SE corner and the highest temps l have seen in December through February have been in the 70s. Actually had a tornado in January 2008. Fall colors can be spotty. Especially if there is a wide variety of tree species. The different species will peak at different times.
Thinking about moving to milwaukee WI. Is it still cold like many years ago I was there it used to be very cold . How is the weather now in winter ,How is the job market . Any info

I come from Germany and would really like to emigrate to the USA, which I will probably do in the future and Wisconsin is my dream state because, as I see it, it has similar four seasons to Germany and gives a neutral impression and I am a Harley Davidson fan 😊 👍
Hi Chris, is Appleton the type of place that is welcoming and accepting of "outsiders", newcomers who aren't from there? Would our kids (ages 7, 9, 13) find it fairly easy to make friends? Some places are notoriously unwelcoming to outsiders.
Kimberly has some of the best music and drama programs in the area. If you have a student interested in band,choir, or theare, make sure you check it out.
What a stupid video! Don't move here because of the snow? We're car dependent? Ever live in Los Angeles? People are car dependent everywhere! Then maybe you should move! I spent 45 years in Los Angeles. When I moved back here a little over 4 years ago, I thought I was driving through the gates of Heaven!
Milwaukee has a LOT of great companies, festivals, activities and very few neighborhoods I'd EVER want to live in. That being said, most of the suburbs of Milwaukee are FANTASTIC, especially when you get into lake country in western Waukesha county.
Hi Thank you for your input, I always enjoy visiting Milwaukee and love all the neighborhoods, I find all of them friendly, Recently visited a Hispanic Bakery and she gave me the Baked good " A little Piggy" because I didn't have cash on me!
@@wheretolivewisconsin I agree there are nice people in every neighborhood. There are also not so nice people. As a real estate agent with people on this video talking about moving to Milwaukee, you’d be doing people a disservice making everything seem great. My opinion is only my opinion: I don’t want to live in the city proper; BUT most areas (not all) are perfectly safe to live in.
"Diversity" breaks up the harmony of the area and increases conflict. Shortly following will be the ever growing and never ending anti-white sentiment and "white guilt" along with a slew of far left policies. These things NEVER fail in "diverse" cities".
I've lived in Madison for 24 years, it's great, I love Madison! I love it, but to just dwell on the few bad things about it for a moment: • the homeless beggars can be aggressive (the city is very safe overall though) • Most mid-priced restaurants are of low quality • Lots of marijuana, lots, it’s everywhere • traffic is bad bc the lakes bottle things up - lots and lots and lots of street construction • Housing and rents are too expensive • Good luck trying to find a dine-in coffee shop open after 8 p.m. - The winters can be brutal, but just like any Midwestern city
Where do the Christian sex slaves go to own homes? You can't deny housing based on religion while every major sacred text from every major religion teaches you are mentally handicapped if you use money but instead teach to give freely without reward. Where do Wisconsin's Christian sex slaves go to own homes equally with those that God considers evil or use money?
@@wheretolivewisconsin I don't really have any plans to move now it's just a place I would consider if a job opportunity would come along there. When I was a kid my dad did have an interview at Plexis I don't think they are around anymore.
Lived in MI for years. Winter is more like 6 months. We used to say there was 2 seasons. Winter and 4 th of July. High taxes, high utilities, boring scenery. Was glad to get out of there.
Hi there….after a lot of researching the Janesville Wisconsin area, I have learned about intense humidity and mosquitoes….two things I absolutely hate and it’s a deal breaker for me mentally and emotionally. Now I am not sure about wanting to move into that stuff, along with the tornadoes and snow. I’m no longer hooked on moving there.

WOW....SOS... Born and raised in M'waukee... Southside and borderline West Allis. I've lived in CA and the last 10 years in LA. I'm looking for somewhere to retire and my heart strings are calling me home but not sure just where ... Sooo much has changed since I moved in 1976.
