@@danielwesolowski8379 He's a lovely bloke! As you can tell from the interview, his guitar work on Evolution Through Revolution made one hell of an impression!
When you pour your soul into an album, already being one of the most talented musicians in history. It sucks you had to go through absolute hell but, the album is as close to perfect as I've ever heard. As well as the incredibly powerful positive message it delivers.
I was lucky enough to meet Freddie at a brewery in Holbeck ,Leeds, when opeth were promoting their beer. He was very busy, but came over to myself & my eldest son carl,& chatted for about 5 minutes, the conversation ended on him saying that they were meeting at rock field studio's in a couple of days to start recording what would become sorceress. He came across as a humble & very likeable bloke,he is a extremely gifted guitarist & I can't wait for the new album & UK tour next year
It's a shame this guy didn't even listen to the whole album before his interview, or even “pay attention” to the flute solos on the few songs he did fly over.
Oh look, I've been sent a preview listen of the new Opeth album!....and I'm interviewing the great F tomorrow! My dreams have come true! Yay!!.... Guess I will listen to the 2nd half later....gotta wash up, then put out the laundry, oops forgot to feed the cat, and yeah better trim my beard.....cup of tea...oops I meant a fosters......take out the weeds from the patio......damn weeds!!!....oh fxxk the interviews in a mo!!! .....oh well ...😂
Hi there, Tom from Sense Music Media. Unfortunately we don't have much control over when we get access to pre-release material, nor when the interviews are scheduled (which can be tricky with different timezones). Rash didn't have a great deal of time to prepare, and he still smashed it, because he's awesome. But I think that there is one thing that we can all agree on, and it's that more bands require flute solos.
Good stuff, Fredrik's a fantastic player and such a chill dude. I like how he can poke fun at Mikael since they've been together so long at this point.
I wish you had dove into his morning guitar routine. As someone who wakes up early too I never feel like playing guitar that early. Just don't have the dexterity in my fingers at that time in the morning.
Edges of Twilight was what got me started, triptych is what got me totally hooked. Love this band, we're my first ever concert which what also got me hooked. Incredible band, incredible talent, fun live shows. Rock boys! 🤘🤘
I love your videos very much your videos are very nice. I really like watching you but I noticed that your channel doesn't have views according to subscribers. Views are very low are you interested to know about this or want to talk about it then I can audit your channel for free what is the problem your channel is low views here.
Has to be one of the most important UK artists of the decade! Blending rap dance dnb reggae & rock. Absolute kick ass record & back catalogue (which I am only just discovering) BV for Prime Minister!
Right? They're incredible. I've been lucky enough to interview them twice, and they're absolutely lovely blokes too. Hopefully they can come to Australia and jump on my head soon! Thanks so much for checking out this video. It was a lot of work! - Tom
Such a magnificent wall of sound on "God Shuffled his Feet".. I taught myself every part for "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm", with the exception of the drum part, as I didn't have access to a kit 😁
Great video! I love interviews with my favorite bands. Can you do a reaction review for my favorite band Sinister Ghost please? They're a Symphonic Black and Death Metal band from Italy definitely worthy of recognition.
He is a genuinely nice bloke, I've been fortunate enough to get to have some long chats with him at gigs recently and was given his pass from the Radio Birdman shows, which I can't thank him enough for.
Trey's a really nice and approachable guy. I remember interviewing him for my fanzine in the 90s. But he needs to realize that Mr. Bungle are in the reunion nostalgia tour part of their career which means playing their stuff from the 90s. All the stuff he is saying about the logistical issues with playing that music is true, but that means they need to get the extra players and equipment and do it. If they could do it then they can do it now. Because Mr. Bungle were one of the best bands from the 90s because they were MORE than a metal band. They had six band members in the 90s and the have five now. Like drop the extra guitar play and get those horns and keyboards in there. Touring on the Raging Demo for four years in a row is tiresome, seeing it once is enough. I would see seem playing the 90s songs multiple times. Hope they change and their mind and record new stuff as well. Nice interview, well done.
I mean maybe nostalgia is all the rage but that doesn't mean they have to indulge it. They don't have to indulge it at all if they don't want. It's not like they're triaging widespread commercial appeal or anything.. If they come back they're going to do it on their own terms which is what we've already seen.
"He needs to realize..." Does he need to?lol. they don't need to do anything they don't want to do. Sounds like you need it but it's not something they need.
cKy has been long gone since Deron left the band. This isnt cKy. The Phoenix wasn’t cKy. 96 Bitter Beings is the closest thing to cKy. Deron and Matty are still keeping the soul of cKy going. Chad had a bad ego that ruined many fans fandom. He’s been rude to many fans over the years. Even me at this tour. Took my Parker to get signed, his Deron ptsd kicked in, and called me a fake fan and stepped away during our meet and greet. Chad can’t sing either. Should just have continued as Chads solo band not cKy. It’s all about the money for them now.
@SenseMusicMedia hes like a taller, greyer bam!!😂😂 ive been watching them since cky2k came out, and ive never noticed it before, at least not that much!! It mustve been the angle!!
So funny. I actually asked Bonnie about Emmy when i met her... I also asked Emmy about Bonnie. Hahah where do i pay to see the match? Im a wrestling fan and clearly Emmy is too.
Saw them in Morro Bay, California last night. Even better live than their albums, and their albums are killer. Nicest guys. Came out and hung with the crowd, took pics, signed autographs, and just friendly to talk with. Super humble for as badass and legendary these guys are within the metal scene. Already can’t wait to catch the next tour.
