Hello, Rider! How are you? :) Love this clip! Would it be OK if we used it in a youtube video we're making and maybe share it on our social media? We'll credit you in the video and all descriptions. Thank you! :) Can you explain what happened?
Could you tell me a bit about the exhaust? but wanted to know is it a Chinese make and how did you get it to fit, everything I have read about the DG O exhaust says that it won't fit a dr200s, did you have a custom fit or something?😅😅 TIA
Stock cv carb needs the restriction of the factory air box to function correctly if your wanting better throttle response and more power you would be better off doing a carb swap the stock cv carb is reliable gives a smoother ride and better mpg but makes the bike feel lazy and really doesn’t do well with modifications so if ur set on modifying the bike i would ditch the cv carb
Hey mate, is it OK to feature your clip in a moto edit some time soon? It will be credited in the description & comments section with your name watermarked on the clip. Thanks, MM
Makes me think you need to do a 3x3 mod instead of removing the lid fully for the higher end umph, Im at the tip top of stage two jetting and clip wise, stock exhaust with the baffles drilled out except the spark arrestor, and tapped a bolt into my exhausts carbon drain bolt so I can fine tune the air coming out and it makes a difference. Ive even drilled out the carb slide vacuum ports slightly and doubled up on the vacuum springs for a smoother lift off, then ill either ride without the lid or with it having a couple of 1/2" holes without any issues hitting 75-80mph downhill but uphill it struggles to get past 50ish where as before it used to do 80 on a shy day
when you put the pipe on, was there a decrease in power? I would like to put on an aftermarket pipe on my 09 DR200SE but dont want to mess with the carb. is it worth it? Thanks
Dudeacus Maximus definitely worth it! no decrease in power but u have to jet it properly if you dont want to run lean. Theres some people that dont jet it and it seems to run fine but it can also fail pretty bad long term.
Nice footage, I love passenger trains at night with the visible, lighted interiors... I browsed and subscribed... If you have a sec. give my channel a look, though eclectic, lots of train content, model and real... Thx much. Moses...
