Hello, this is Daniel Mullins and welcome to channel4squares1, the home of UK continuity from our VHS archive along with a selection of digital clips from whatever's suitable.
Our channel will contain continuity from all the major channels including BBC, ITV and Channel 4 along with continuity from the digital world. The clips are mainly taken between the mid 80's and current day. I will also upload from time to time the logos which appears after the shows and some programming (mainly gameshows).

I was just looking through some old listings online, one from the 4th Jan 1987, and in one newspaper listing the morning breakfast programme was given as Good Morning Britain, yet in another newspaper listing from the same day it said TV AM. TV-AM ran from about 1984 until the early 90s didn't it?. Consdering most newspapers just copy and paste the same info anyway, it's strange why one says TV-AM and the other says Good Morning Britain, they weren't technically the same programme. Old newspaper scans are a good source for finding old programme dates etc, but some of the info can be a little incorrect I have found. I find sources like the Radio and TV Times to be more accurate, but finding old scans or copies of those TV magazines is difficult, and the people who try and sell them on ebay often want alot of money for them, plus regional issues can be more difficult to find if the programme/film etc was only broadcast in that region.

I use this video as a reminiscence distraction for one of my dementia clients. We watch it maybe twice a week. Talking about Tom finney (who he knows personally) is a favourite pass time which reduces his aggression and anxiety. Thankyou
