When we're not selling homes for sale we're looking for fun, new things to do.
I can see what youre saying. We had the property staged so that it shows as a nuetral, "blank canvas" for the wide array of buyers that have various tastes in aethetics and design. English Tudors do deserve to have alot of character pieces of accent furniture, rugs, art, etc... but we had it designed in a generalized easy to please aesthetic.
Hello i wanted to say what an awesome video. As a local resident of the mountains it is always a pleasure to see videos of people that came up to visit. I actually work at the Lake Arrowhead resort and spa. I also live in a town called Running springs, have you checked out the 3 fire lookout towers ( Strawberry peak , Kellar's peak , and Butlers peak) they have an awesome views. Also have you guys thought about renting an Airbnb? We have some that is up here i know there is a few i believe on my street. As a parent myself i believe raising my two daughters up here is awesome.. Can't wait to see your next visit up here.. If you have any question feel free to hit me up ..
I purchased the listing at The Barcelona Rivas Realty talks about in this video. Rivas Realty is highly recommended. My favorite place not mentioned in their walking tour is El Portal.
Thank you so much for making this video in the winter. We are thinking of coming up from SoCal as well and your video really helps to give a sense of what one would have to be prepared for in terms of the snow conditions. Kudos to you and your husband for making the video while trying to manage the kids. Great job!
This was absolutely lovely! My wife and I are spending a week up in Yosemite for Christmas and it looks like we might get snow, this looked incredible and thank you for sharing!
Thanks! It’s highly unlikely that there will be snowfall in Nov. It just starts dropping down to freezing at night in Nov, but the first snowfall is usually December.
@@VivaRivas sorry, another question as they take so long to reply via email: how much does a room cost the their lodge? Breakfast is included or you need to order ala carte?
Thank you for the fabulous tour! I drive by this home when visitors come to town. In a Barbara Walters interview, that you can find on RU-vid, Bob mentions they bought the 6-1/2 acre property in 1938 for $35k. I would imagine it has been on the mls listing for a while due to ordinances put into place and that new owners cannot raze home and break it up into parcels. It should definitely be a historical landmark, in my opinion.
It did!! It was closed when we got there but the NPS worked over night and cleared the highway from rock slides, so we got in the next morning after spending the night at the bottom of the mountain. It was so beautiful with snow!
Hi Maiza. Sorry didn't see your comment until now. Last year we visited the first opening day of the holidays at Universal, in November. This year the first day is Nov 25th. The park hours vary depending on the day of the week and crowd attendance. For the first few days of the holidays at Universal, in November, the park closes early at 8pm, but those hours may extend to as late as 10pm.
Hey!👋🏼 It opened in 2014 at the same time they completed the Minion Mayhem ride. It’s not really a water park per say, but a glorified splash zone. On a really hot day I will literally run through it with my clothes with my kids, just to cool off. 😂
Just curious how old are your kids? I’m getting ready to go to universal studios tomorrow and I wanna make sure they have rides for my kids to enjoy. My daughter is turning 5 and my son is 3. Are they enough rides for them to get on and enjoy?
Hey. I hope you enjoyed your visit. Our girls are 5 and 7. I feel like there’s enough to keep them busy in a day, more so with the shows and play structure areas, like the Minion playground and splash zone, and Dino Play. My husband and I tire out our kids while they play in those areas and we’ll take turns using child switch to go on the thrill rides like Jurassic World.😄
Hey Marilynn. Sorry for the late response. Unfortunately Universal doesn’t engineer their ride cars to accommodate multiple riders in one car, like Disneyland does. But rides you can do with all three of your little ones together is the Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, Kung Fu Panda, and the shows are fun. There’s playground areas to keep them busy too. My 7 yr old is tall enough to ride of Secret Life of Pets in her own ride car so she’ll go in one and I’ll go with my 5 yr old.
Are most if not all go ride go fast or have fast drops? My son is scared of fast drops or roller coasters. Do you recommend any ride that don’t do that?
Hey Ana. Sorry I missed your comment from a while ago. My girls are 5 and 7 and they are scared to go on a lot of rides. My 7 yr old loves the Flight of the Hippogriff (Harry Potter rollercoaster). Universal has added a decent amount of things for kids so we keep them busy with all the new stuff in Illumination land, like Secret Life of Pets and the love the shows.
At least, my 3 Komodo Dragons will spare you 4 off their menu😃😃😃; nonetheless they'll kill the other musk ox shits instead as their buffet course!😠😠😠 Cheese & Chilesaurus!🐲🐲🐲
