I have the same remote but the board takes off by itself whenever I turn it on, it's the remote that came with the board, is there some kind of cruise control function I'm unaware of by chance?
So I own 2 of these boards. And both worked great until recently. Now one of them somehow became unpaired. So I follow the instructions of this video but when I turn on the remote it’s the green light that flashes immediately and not the three red ones. They stay on the whole time. And the board just beeps at me when I push the throttle forward or backwards. And yes I pressed the (binding button) as well. It’s not sinking up for some reason. Any suggestions? Thank you.
@@JasonEsk8 hello wow thanks for the fast response. It’s the skatebolt and exact remote you have in the video. I followed the instructions exactly but just not having any luck
I turn the board on. Then press the power button till it flashes blue. Then turn on remote but soon as remote is on all the red lights are solid and only the green light is flashing. I hit the pair button and then green light stops flashing but doesn’t beep or pair. 🤷🏽♂️
@@morganpowell94 The remote is on, all the red lights are solid, and only the green light is flashing. This indicates that your skateboard is paired with the remote, so it's likely that the issue is with the ESC or the battery. The remote should be fine. Since you have two boards, you can try pairing this remote with the other board.
So am I right in believing that the internal battery and the surge battery packs are used separately and when one is worn out the other one must be turned on? Or does it drain both batteries at the same time?
To be honest I am not a fanboy of this sort of battery addon as it makes Hurricane look like any DIY eskate. Esthetics is important if you are looking to ride in the style. So having that Hurricane is top range board I would expect it to have a removable/swappable battery from the deck itself instead of an added Meh on the top... ;) I am not judging but I think it has to be said. Let's make things better but in >>> STYLE <<<!
Hey is there any chance u have a spare electric skateboard I can possibly have? I've been wanting one and well although u probably will say no, i thought as well might try since u do miss 100percent of the shots u don't take so yea, completely understandable if u have none or just have some but not willing to send it out to a stranger anyways thank you for ur time
@@JasonEsk8 thank you so much, I've been hearing some mixed reviews so it got me in the middle to wether i wanted to buy it or not but now i probably will, thank you so much for the information also does it power just one wheel? Or how many does it power? And also is it noisy like loud or not that loud?
This is a single-hub motor board, so it has only one motor. The hub motor is virtually noiseless, and when the battery is dead, it can be used as a regular skateboard.@@mr.pig2059
I have a ACTON qu4tro skateboard and my wheels are falling apart it’s been 2 years since I ride because of the wheels condition do you any website where I can buy the hub motor shell for the ACTON qu4tro
The motors on the ACTON Qu4tro are kinda old school. You can't just swap out the sleeves, you gotta change the whole shebang, including the inner magnetic parts. Problem is, it's a pain to find these old sleeves, and even if you do, they're usually expensive. My suggestion is , If you've been rocking those old motors for a while, maybe think about upgrading to the new ones later. The latest motors come with cool options like 105PU sleeves or cloud wheel sleeves.
Will the honeycomb wheels fit on these motors? It seems like they would be smoother for riding on courser roads ,running over pebbles and small rocks .
I bought this kit and am going to build a board using tool batteries. You said at the end of the video that a heat sink is necessary. What do you mean and how do you do it ?
Hi, A heat sink is a piece of metal that cools the ESC to keep it from overheating. You see, there is a metal piece at the bottom of the electric skateboard ESC enclosure, and that is the heat sink ,check this out:www.puaida.com/products/battery-esc-case-for-puaida-6-series-electric-skateboard
Hey hey does anybody wanna help me out , I’m wondering if you could buy a cheap board with a single hub motor and slap one of these kits on with a dual hub motor ?
How can I unpair the original remote? Our original is still paired but does not charge so we got a new remote and it wont pair because the old remote is still paired 😢.
long press the power on the board until the light on the power flashes the board will go into the pair mode ,then you can pair the board to any remote .
@@JasonEsk8 then maybe this remote just doesn’t work with our board because we do this and the remote light never goes into paired mode. We did push to start check and it does start but the new remote just isn’t pairing. We thought it was because the old remote was still paired. Dang it.
The remote is not compatible with all electric skateboards. This remote is compatible with all Lingyi ESC ( or electric skateboard that use Lingyi ESC ).The easiest way to find out whether your board works with the remote is to push your board when it's powered off ,if your board has push to start ,it is likely to compatible with the remote.
Off the top: DO NOT BUY! This is the worst customer service you can hope to never experience. More on the actual board down below. But this is more important. So ... Did I pay $300 for 5-7 day shipping? You bet I did. Did I receive my board in 5-7 days? No I did not. 2 weeks? Nope. A month? Negative. Well it turned out (according to them after it took them 30 days to "figure out" what's happening) the container was stopped at the border and returned. Did they return my "Fast Shipping" money? To their credit they offered to, but me being the stand-up citizen that I am, I told them I will not accept it since it appeared to not be their fault. Did they think to add some bonus swag, like idk some cloudwheels or something to make up for their f-ck up? Ha! No way. Okay so I finally get my board 40+ days later, summer is running out: The remote breaks on DAY ONE. I had travelled 200 miles from home to ride trails in Tri-Cities, got a hotel for couple nights, and the first morning of the first day of attempting to ride it, the remote stopped working after 2 miles. So now my $800 weekend is toast. I sent them a video of my broken remote, asked them to send me a new one at the fastest shipping possible. The remote weighs like 30 grams, it would not cost them much to send it by air. Maybe $30. I know because I regularly buy stuff from China for my resale business. Well these a$$holes sent it by a f-cking SHIP! It took 47 days to reach me! What a bunch of self centered a$$holes with no regard for customers. I even bought the $2k version with extra battery, I literally spent the most amount of money you can possibly spend with them and this was how they treat treat you for doing business with them. Just a full frontal F-CK YOU to your face. I would not recommend these people to my worst enemy. As for the board. It's great. It does 33mph. The range is 45 miles.
Thanks for the video ! I am looking for an esc for 2 x 450 hub motors. On the product description it says 430w with a 36v batery . That 430 w is for each motor or for bouth ?
