God. I LOVED this game. It is still one of the best versions of Tekken. So many characters to unlock, great soundtrack, awesome gameplay (no stupid cut scene moves, just fast paced), no instant one button combos, and Tekken Bowl. And of course Mokujin is playable! The newer versions of Tekken are ok but still the peak of the whole series was this game and Tekken 5.
I'm currently playing around with King in Tekken 3 and I'm trying to do the Stretch Combo that's supposed to happen after Ultimate Tackle -> Leg Cross Hold -> Stretch Combo but for some reason I just can't get Stretch Combo to come out. I think I might've done it once by accident but I just can't seem to figure out the trick. I see you doing it and your inputs at 4:32 I swear I'm doing the same thing but it just won't come out, not sure where I'm going wrong. If I mash it I can get it to come out sometimes, so I guess the timing is just really strict?

In practice mode, take two different characters and keep them as far apart as possible. After several minutes, bubbles with their fights will appear above their heads.
Wow i cant even believe that i unlocked most of those back when i was a child without even knowing how… i used to think it was like a reward given for gameplay time (the more i play, more i unlock stuff). My fav one was the Ball game…
I felt like Tekken tag the main characters should of been like may xio I forgot her name going undercover to find more info on the mitsu sabatsu and than with the panda partner and than law and Paul are both good friends and I think that law and Paul were students together but either way thats there game right there
A little info about Devil Jin's unlocking: his unlocking after the 200 fights only applies if all other characters (except Eddy) have been unlocked beforehand. Otherwise, you first unlock Roger Jr. after 200 fights. But if you have already unlocked Roger Jr. through the story mode, for example, you get Anna after 200 fights instead of 400 fights. You also unlock a character after every 200 fights if you haven't unlocked them in one of the other modes beforehand. So something like this: 200 fights - Roger Jr., 400 fights - Anna, 600 fights - Baek...
So the school uniforms are unlocked by playing with them a lot? lol Our playground rumours were saying stuff like "you have to beat the campaign with Jin and Xiaoyu 20 times" or something, or even more. Technically they weren't false, but they made it sound so absurdly difficult we ended up giving up befre even trying. Come to think of it, I have beat the campaign with Xiao numerous times back then, I may have had the uniform unlocked without realising lmao
This was one the first games I got on PlayStation. Played the hell out of it. It’s still my favorite one. I’m in my 30s now and didn’t know half of this stuff!!
There was a removed cutscene animation for yoshimitsu that if you defeated raven they did like a kabuki Jiraiya dance where yoshimitsu teaches raven to dance and it was an embarrassing moment
@@gameworldid not unlock but Modding. Harada must've hid that cutscene in the game's code. Tekken 5 and DR are in fact available on pc. Seems to me modders know how to hacked the game and discovered something that we never seen it before but had some cut voice dialogues that were removed or being hidden within the game.
One thing that is cool to mention is that once you unlock the characters and costumes they appear in the gameplay showcase video (a video that starts when you havent take any action in the menu). Really cool.
I still play T5 on ps2 till this day. You missed a few more character costumes from customize purchase Jin Law Bruce Lee Anna Raven Ganryu Yoshimitsu Ling Xiaoyu Press triangle to wear these Xiaoyu also has another (panda like) costume by pressing circle 😅 There are many more little things like Heihachi has a special headbutt grab command ff 1+4 however it will NOT work on the ladies hmm😮 he will just punch or kick. However On the men he sends them flying😅 BUT it can be countered by quickly pressing 1 It can be re countered by pressing 1 😂😂 This headbutt off can be done until someone is ko😂😂
