I bought a transmission with this adapter and I don’t have the supply lines! Do you mind sharing the links for the T56 extended bleeder and supply line please thank you!
The supply line came with my kit so you should be able to buy it from them and possibly the remote bleeder. I do know you can buy a remote bleeder off Ebay.
Im embarassed to say but when i filled the transmission from the side i put the wrong plug back in. I had 2 transmission parts on my work bench and it was as simple as that
@@Chessermotorsports I hope potential renters see your strategy on recouping loss on their dime. Dirty renters are a sad reality of renting, but that doesn't screw everyone because of it. Theyre should be laws against this kinda thing
@eddiesnyder4354 just throwing it out there, where do you think the money for repairs comes from? I mean rentals have to have maintenance, repairs, they are sometimes empty, have to have insurance on them. Landlords factor in repairs and maintenance etc. Hence the rate they charge to rent one of their units. So if they take a $20k loss where does this money come from? Do you think they take out a loan for that money?
@@Chessermotorsports I maintain several rentals and do this work for a living. Security deposits from bad renters and insurance is where the money comes from, not ripping the next person off to recoup your loss. Background checking your renters go a long ways towards preventing this from happening.
@@eddiesnyder4354 who did i rip off? Ive been doing it for 15 years i own 24 properties. I have an extremely low turnover rate. My highest 2br 1bath home is 800 a month. Who and how have i ripped someone off?
Im sure it would but with our drift car we dont worry about all that. You could use your phone to see what an accurate speed would be if you needed to know what the difference is.
Hey man I just got a is300 with the same kit already installed I got lucky and got it for 6k it has the autosportsengineering a340 adapter plate and 3uzfe. In my 2001 is300 anyways I’m about to do a trans and throw out bearing as well as a pilot bearing. My question befor I tackle the job is are you able to pull the transmission without pulling motor? I really hope so as that’ll be a lot of extra work. I have a lift to use luckily but just seeing what you have to say about it
Yes absolutely. Shouldnt be a problem at all just drop the driveshaft ,unplug all the sensors, pull the shifter, trans mount, then bellhousing and starter bolts and shes out.
@@Chessermotorsports ohh okay, i was wondering because of your other video of you running stock ecu. was it hard? i’m trying to boost my IS on stock ecu for a lil while before i go standalone
@@lysticalz i didnt want the twin disk chatter on the 1j so i went with this one in my IS300 and its been great on it couldnt ask for a happy medium that was much better than what it ended up being. I used Spec back in my Honda days when they first cane out and i have had great luck from them.
@@Chessermotorsports just because you’re the man to talk to, should I make that spacer your using on the trans? Or can I just trim the input shaft? Just want to make sure the shifter isn’t too far forward with that extra 3/4 of an inch or so. I really appreciate your input on all this.
@stronecorbett3656 a couple folks claimed to not use the spacer and it work. That part i dont know. Im half tempted to measure that spacer and go have some made and sell those things. The location of the shifter wouldnt be the issue as much as the input shaft bottoming out. I cant say it wouldnt but i have heard a few people claim to have luck without machining the input shaft down.
@@Chessermotorsports if you could measure it that would be awesome! Drift motion said it needs 1/4 inch taken off the input shaft. But that spacer looks thicker than that.
Did you have to shave off the input shaft at all? I’m. Doing the Ar5 swap with a 2jz on a 95 240sx. And the shifter location was good enough, I was told by drift motion it would be too short?
Honestly, how can somebody do this? I understand some of a few things. But I could never leave a house like that no matter how mad I am at a landlord or anything like that I could never.
This looks like the house I moved into last year. It is this a mess outside. I've had to call codes because she puts her household trash in her big building instead of taking it 4 miles away from her.
They were shoving their trash in the closets while i was inspecting it i guess i didnt think to check closets. It was always ok so i stopped visiting it as often.
Close to Knoxville TN, its a 2jzge vvti with an AR5 trans custom driveshaft ECU Masters with wiring Specialties jz to s14 harness and lots of other things. Id say id take 8500 or so. Ill have to do some math on what i got in it but somewhere in that range. I got full videos of what it had in this channel.
There's a 2006 Colorado ar5 for sale around my town. Is it the same as yours? I noticed it's a shorter shifter. Would I also need to buy the shifter relocater? I've heard of the solstices ar5 where it's other but I think the one I'm looking at is the same as your.
Theres a few variations of these transmissions. I think the main difference on them is the rear trans mount orientation. Youll need to figure out which one youll need for your application. I dont know all the details on which mount style is in what vehicle but i think thatll be your first hurdle.
