I don't wear them much and they're still ok but my comment was meant regarding their longevity over years. In my experience the felt material does deteriorates over time and especially the toe tip will separate. Most Asics Sagas I have have the same problem and that material is far thicker than the stuff Nike is using

Wait until you wear them and see how much your heel hurt due to that pathetic plastic they put there. They replaced the textil cushy matherial that teard down after years of wearing with this misery. I am so upsed I don't even know if I am going to buy nike anymore. Last 3 pairs were so disgusting compared to the quality they had.
I really like these, it is modern yet keeps the mizuno design language. For my part i chose the v6 because there was a special edition of them. For me mizuno is what asics was 2 or 3 years ago, an under the radar brand releasing bangers on bangers.

@@HighlyAkicktive medial side missing branding for my taste and I see a couple of spots on the lateral side where the seam will give in after 2 weeks of wear. Other than that and comparing the price. 🔥
amazing design for a new sneaker by mizuno, love the open mesh especially for breathability. also looks dope on feet . pricing is great too . mizuno got something with these definitely . fire pickup brother ✊️🙏
@@loganjbaez thank you very much and absolutely agree! It's a little better looking in the toebox than the 1130. Seeing now that NB is putting out a collab with Salehe Bembury shouldn't hold back other brands from doing the same in their "cheaper" releases. Also I have the feeling Mizuno is gaining some ground in the scene
This is probably one of the biggest reasons why I bought NB 580 due to its thick sole. I'm like 5''7 and half and I always look for shoes with relatively thick sole. Beside NB 327, there aren't many NB with thick soles. So please don't look at it as some kinda down fall. Not every man is like 6'' esp among Asian guys.
@@taiwanvstheworld not complaining about the thick midsole at all. Also not really about the more bulky toebox a snot every sneaker has been designed with my foot type in mind 😅 This is a great model all around and I really enjoy wearing them
Hey bro.. Can you help me out with something I'm confused with... My pair has the same bubble as yours... You can see 4 holes in the bubble.... But in all other vids and on websites ect... It only shows 3 holes in the bubble. Any ideas?
Telling from my own pics (don't have the shoe here ATM) it looks like I got 4 holes as well. I think this is related to the sizing. Product pics are being shot with sample size 9 or 9.5 and those most likely only have 3 holes. Bigger shoe, bigger bubble

IMO if you want the best of both worlds (990v6 & 2002R), I'd strongly suggest the 990v4. I love 2002Rs, but the 990v4 is like a better 2002R to me. They're also slightly lighter and I'd say potentially more durable. The only downside is it can be harder to track down more colors for the 990v4, and they're always going to be more expensive. 990v6 are very comfortable, but I've actually found both 2002R and 990v4 more comfortable if on feet for a whole day as they are more firm which actually supports the feet better over a longer period of time in my experience.
I wore the v4 today. The 99X have a better support to the sides and a better foot bed, which I definitely prefer. My favorite 99X is the 993. Thanks for the insights on the V6, much appreciated 👍🏻
