My Dad is doing this hike as i type this message. Camping down in the canyon 2 nights and then hiking up the Bright Angle Trail to finish his trip. I hope to do a canyon trip too soon.
Yes! It was a little trickier this year due to the wet conditions but wasn't as slippery as it looked. Just take your time going through. Once you are into it, it's not too bad. Are you running it this year?
@@Mountainpeakfitness Thanks for the reply. I'm still on the fence. I've run in the Catskills quite a bit, but it's always intimidating to take on the more technical stuff, and I don't like heights... but like mountain running. Ahaha.
My Mac Airbook will not allow the creation of a tcx file? Brand new with the latest operating system and unsure what the issue is? When I create the /export_original file the heart rate and power (watts for cyling) data are not included? Am I missing something in settings or any suggestions?
There are 2 ways to do this. Strava now lets you export the original workout file, that you can then import or drag & drop into your Training Peaks calendar. Simply go to the workout, tap the icon ••• and select “export original” It will then download to your desired folder and you can import it from there or drag & drop it into your TP calendar. The 2nd way is creating a TCX file for each individual activity, then dragging & dropping that file into your TP Calendar. You do this by adding "/export_tcx" without quotes to the end of your activity page URL within any web browser. Hit enter and the file will automatically be created and downloaded to your desired folder. For Mac users, this is your download folder. Hope this helps! I was running with the dogs by Poets Ledge/ Wildcat falls and I was seeing all these people with bibs. I had no idea there was an ultra this close to home! I looked at the course and the devils trail section must be absolutely brutal that late into the course.
Terribly beautiful. I noticed due to some issues your videos are not reaching most people. As a result according to your channel, your channel videos are not viewed, liked, or subscribed. If you want I agree to discuss the issues.
Tag the Summit ... and move away. So weird folks hanging out there. Did that one 16 years ago, mid summer, on a Saturday, 2 other folks up there. Really has changed. Nice work.
Nice, we did a clockwise loop last weekend, it was pretty grueling. I like how you did the road miles starting at the standard TH, that was smart - we parked at N Halfmoon, so the road miles were at the end. I'd much rather go up and back down the N Halfmoon trail next time.
You guys are alright! I just bought a few pairs of MSR shoes for the family. My boys and I are summer 46ers and now it's time to try some winter hikes. Thanks for posting this.
No, you can keep your foot flat and still get a great stretch. Definitely continue to work on your foot & ankle health, as well as big toe mobility. Make sure that you are not wearing shoes with a small or narrow toe box.
Yep, mostly double track. It is an out and back course, works well with the large field. Still a beautiful area and plenty technical with loose rock and some steep grades at times.
Just Bought this bike defective frame 7k nightmare at least components are good """"""""""""""""""""""""""" Warning do not buy """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
Yes, it does work on mobile devices but you need to use a web browser such as google chrome, Safari or Firefox from your device and log in to Strava that way. Then search for your activity, and enter in the same info.
Hi there, I have a problem I am facing with magene c406 pro (Bike computer). Whenever I complete the ride, the data is uploaded on strava but not on TrainingPeaks. However earlier it was working perfectly fine. I have done re-uploads, and reinstalled apps, troubleshooting etc. Even then it doesn't work. Every time I have to feed in details manually. Kindly provide a solution. Apart from this when I go to "Apps and Devices" section and click Manage connections on Trainingpeaks webesite, I come to see that, there is strava and onelap fit (magene app) against which "Read/Write" is mentioned under a particular section but NOT specifically against onelap fit. According to me, it would mean that data is auto-uploaded just on strava and when it comes to Trainingpeaks we got to add it manually, which I don't want, I want data to upload directly. Kindly provide me with a solution as I have searched the internet day n night but unable to fix this issue.
Question: what size is this and do the brake levers hit the top tube? Also, is the matte black pretty easy to keep clean? Would you say it’s smooth matte finish? Thanks in advance
great video on HOW TO perform this correctly and safely. I appreciate it. I am just embarking to use this exercise, and my approach was not clean. Thank you, Bruce.
