@@cartelplug8183 to me living in this days was alot of fun especially when we moved from our first house in beechwood st to our second house newly built on bly ave . That whole area were newly built house thats where I met a lot of my friends , and the majority of them were from a small town called El Campo. We were always outside playing sports in on the streets from football, to soccer baseball and at night time we played alot of hide and seek . There were times we would go to the elementary school yard to to play basketball. One thing we did do more than anything else was riding our bikes all over town . And when the arcade was open I can’t remember what year it opened , but that was the place to hang out . And yes there was gang members and they were all of the same gang cUz in Ivanhoe only one gang had control there and they were the SOUTH SIDE KINGS . From what I remember our parents and other parents were always working at klink citrus on the weekends they were always attentive to making there yards looking good and other times we would be at family grill outs at that one park right next to elbow creek . But yeah like I said it was was fun . one more thing every end of the school years we would have shaving cream parties at the triangle parking lot .
