Love transfers..the small wording in the lover of flowers transfer I cannot stand they are the most difficult to transfer no matter if the piece is sealed first or not
I've become my mother...time to get rid of alot of my clutter. Tired of dusting it and just need it to go! My 35 year old son said, why, mom? No, keep it. So I let him dust the crap now. Boy, will my kids be sorry they didn't want me to get rid of a lot of my second hand finds when they have to unload all this stuff someday. 😊
Great idea!!! I just did the same thing with a lamp it had a beautiful ornate metal base, then this glass globe that has this amazing diamond pattern, and above that was a wooden spindle type piece...together they made a beautiful lamp but separately they have given me 3 amazing decor pieces! I used the metal base and put a glass cloche on it, then the wooden spindle looking part I painted and distressed it and placed it in a basket with some floral and some art...I'm still trying to figure out what to do with the glass part, but I'm pretty sure I found a project the other day I'd like to try!!! I love to see how different people's crafting brain works!!!!
I always rescue pieces! I call them my thrifty puzzles! My last grouping was 4 figurines a month or so ago, heads all broke off laying in a box. Perfect breaks- after repairing you can't see that they were repaired. All cute children vintage figurines. Made my day!
