I think Rosalina is the worst showdown minigame Cause the player with advantage has already won if he never get hit by a wall... And its quite boring sadly... I wish it wouldnt be with motion + more like Peach with 3 different steps 1st: Collect Luma 2nd: jump between planets with gravity 3rd: shoot star Crystals to a boss or something like that Yoshis Race should also get 3 different kind of maps so you never know what you get otherwise its too easy to remember stuff
I agree! The Rosalina one could’ve gotten more flare and shouldn’t have been motion only. And good idea on the Yoshi one. It def is pretty easy to memorize that layout!

Bowser Jr ( it’s really fun and fast paced) 6. Wario( decent minigame but it’s too long) 7. Peach ( just boring) 8. DK( repetitive and really long) 9. Rosalina( like the idea but it’s almost impossible to catch up) 10. Waluigi( just too long like I don’t want to do that for 3 minutes)
What would happen if 1 round tied, then on the other rounds each team won once, so the score was 2-2? I've never played this game sp I don't know if it's just a dice role or something!
I actually used high tide on this board to my advantage once. Almost everyone had a star pipe but one person, and the star would strand someone for the rest of the game if they used the pipe, no one had the shell. So I purposely waited to use mine until someone else did.

Some of the showdown games are mind boggling - like i've played with 3 separate friend groups and we've had DK as a jamboree buddy each time, and everyone including myself was super confused by the out of time music - Like you have DK, this iconic character with iconic music and you give some shitty generic bongo drums beat that doesn't really even match up to the music it's just so bad compared to literally any other rythm game ever - most of them are all too long also, the yoshi mountain race, multiple people including myself was finding that inputs for jumping and hovering were just not recognised, plus it's super easy to cheese because you can just hug the wall so the player on the left will always win unless they initiate the minigame and get the boost - jr's jauntlet is one of the best - it throws together old minigames (that were great) and puts them on one fast paced arena - like I don't understand some of nintendos bizzarre decisions - who wants to spend like 3+ mins on a mini game - such a drag - also I assume that roselina is straight up not a jamboree buddy ever if you don't have motion mini games turned on, her minigame is only good because you have shitty tilt controls - they could have made it so much more interesting and engaging if it was pro controls - Nintendo be Nintendo-ing

Showdown minigames would probably be straight s-tier minigames if they were about half the length - I LOVE Waluigis Pinball, one of the best games in Jamboree, but after like 2 mins you start thinking "come on, lets go back to the main board game now"
Yeah they’re quite lengthy and can drag on. Playing them in minigame bay is so much better cause you’re just chillin playing minigames and no one gets those initial advantages at the beginning
yo, yoshi is the most op character. I literally rolled 10 like 4 times in a row and then won the game with 41 coins after I bought the big star. Then my sister told me to get lost since I wont share the win. Typical siblings.
