I’m Holly and I hope to inspire you to get out of your comfort zone and choose adventure. Here you'll find videos about travel, life as an American living abroad, and finding meaning as I navigate the next steps in my life. I'm currently based in Sicily and I'm so glad you're here! I have lived in five different countries and, as a tall woman, Alta is an ode to my height and the lofty dreams I’ve always had for myself.
Thank you for the review. I think we have similar tastes in packing. I am doing the Camino from Oct 1-Nov 5 this fall. What are the apps that you recommend?
I am about to make my own gear review video for the hike we just finished. (Feel free to check out our videos). We certainly were more sparse with our gear than you. That said, I still learn a little from every gear review I watch. Thanks for putting this together. Seven weeks for a Frances trip is a casual trip, and I think at that pace I would be more inclined to bring a bit more stuff because the mileage would be less demanding. What percentage of the frances would you say was paved?
@@aslowerplace thank you for your thoughtful comment! There was definitely more next to the road walking than I had anticipated but I’m not sure what percentage exactly is paved.
@@alinavoroshilova209 some of the albergues don’t offer sheets (and if they do most are really bad quality). It depends on when you go too, it adds a bit of extra warmth if there aren’t blankets provided.
