We are SCAN (Society for Cancer Advocacy and AwareNess Kuching). SCAN was founded through the joint efforts of a group of cancer patients, survivors, caregivers and concerned professionals. SCAN was officially registered with ROS on the 24th of July 2017.
Our motivation is to be the unified voice for all cancer patients to improve access to high quality health care. We plan to achieve that by being a strategic supporter and partner to the Sarawak Government, particularly the health care institutions and related government agencies which provide the needs and welfare of cancer patients within Sarawak region.
