Hi Lindsay, thanks for doing this feature because I will be buying merino for our baby once they’re here. I bought myself merino baselayers for the reasons you highlighted and was super excited about the no-smell part, but it doesn’t work for me🫤!! My husband laughed at me because I spoke this aspect up so much to convince him how amazing merino would be for us to buy, and after one wear (or part of the way through a wear) the armpits of my tops smell and I can’t re-wear without washing (and soaking to get rid of armpit odour). I’m so sad about this because I love the pieces I got otherwise. I have mostly Kari Traa, and then last winter found a 100% merino brand at Costco. I have lots of Icebreaker socks so maybe I’ll try one of their tops to see if there’s a difference. Maybe my armpit odour is just an anomaly 😅 Has anyone else found this and do you have any suggestions?

Thank You sooo much for this info! 💗 I was soooo terrified of the pain and what could go wrong etc that I wasn't really sure if I can handle natural birth.👀 My first kid was born by c-section while I was in full narcosis just totally not there. And that's what they pushed on me because I have epilepsy and doctors were afraid of what could happen if I have a seizure during birth. But now when I just think about the facts, physical pain has almost never been a trigger for me. Also I didn't even escape the pain with c-section last time. Something went wrong when they sewed me back together and I was very close to losing my uterus totally because of what went wrong. So taking account all of this I feel that natural birth is actually the safest way. 🤔💗
Any leakage happening? Anything to do about it safely? I have a waterproof mattress cover underneath a fitted sheet, but don’t want to constantly wash my sheets lol I doubt a burp cloth is safe to put under the breast/baby’s mouth?
That’s four in 10,000 not one in 10,000. A minuscule amount, but still, the easiest thing to calculate out of the stats you gave and you said the wrong amount. Lol
They just administer antibiotics before labor. Doctors didn’t make a big deal of it and I have been on antibiotics for other things so many times that it doesn’t even matter.
i have been wearing low socks my whole life but i have never had a wool ankle sock before. usually i wear no show socks with a light breathable fabric. might try some of these for winter!
Do Lola condoms dry during? I’ve heard they get dry and the size problem. I’m interested but unsure, i am a sensitive woman and never tried organic before

My 2nd Epidural didn’t work. 3rd caused a Spinal Fluid Leak and I now have a condition called Adhesive Arachnoiditis ( Spinal Nerves are glued together and attached to Spinal wall ). The pain is on par with Stage 4 Bone Cancer. Now permanently disabled with this progressive disease
Boys should absoluutely be encouraged to play with dolls as it helps develop empathy/future parenting skills. I used to nanny two girls aged 5 and 8 plus their baby brother. He wanted to put on a sparkly dressing up dress and a crown/wand and I helped him put them on. The dad noticed and looked at me weirdly but didn’t. say anything, but I could tell he wasn’t happy. My nephew at about the same age (2-ish) was so happy to run around dressed as Elsa, so it is definitely more accepted about a. decade later

I like close to a university that offers certified nurse Midwife, but because I am a mom of two, I was looking more into home, birthing and running my own personal business of it. Therefore, I am wondering if there are any ways of becoming a midwife through online courses or programs that will allow me to practice here in Southern California. I was enjoying your video but you lost me at systemic racism. I’m black and grew up around predominantly white people and never once felt less than. I have always had the same exact opportunities as my white counterparts and yes…we were poor. I wasn’t raised to have a victim mindset which is why I accomplished the things I have in life and I can also take responsibility for the things I was not able to accomplish because of my own bad decisions. You are being lied to for the sake of political power. Please read Thomas Sowell. Black people are not oppressed and white supremacy does not exist, this is a spiritual battle we are facing. I am super worried and stressed just found out i am positive ! I have mever heard of this before and sometimes i feel test was done wrong coz i did urine test 3 weeks ago and was negative .my midwife gave me amoxicillin to drink for 7 days and after during labour Iv ! should i trust them and do it during labour or should i finish one week antibiotic and re test 🫣please advise
Baby is almost 6 months old and we naturally settled into a side lying co sleeping thing since she was about 2 weeks old. I do have wrist issues so I have increased my side lying feeds at home. She feeds much better in this position than any of the others anyway.
Thanks for the video, very well done. I do have a question...when I go to the Bombas page and look for the Tri Blocks ankle socks the only ones it brings up are made of 76% cotton, not wool. They look like the ones you showed but no wool. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place?
