I sooooo relate to your speech about pregnancy and feeling insecure about your body before pregnancy and then realizing that there was no point. Totally relate and you’re so cute! Thanks for being transparent and brave
I used to do stripping regularly when I was using a top loading washer and store bought detergents. I had to switch to homemade detergent because of my daughter’s skin sensitivities. I made a batch every 6-8 months in a 5 gallon bucket with a lid. The homemade detergent is biz powder (enzyme laundry booster), borax, washing soda, scent beads for smell, and shredded zote soap or fels naptha. It took 2 tablespoons per big load. Stripping takes away the residues from commercial detergents that ARE THERE if you use the recommended amount or have a washer that doesn’t rinse well, or have hard water, etc. If you use a detergent that has any of these ingredients to prevent residue and/or have a very efficient washer, “stripping” doesn’t work because there’s nothing to strip. When I started using the homemade detergent, I never had to use hot water unless it was for sanitizing purposes. Our clothes were brighter and cleaner and my husband’s pit stains even faded and disappeared with every subsequent wash. This was with a family of 6 (4 teenagers working in fast food) and 5 dogs. I HIGHLY recommend it. No tub soup if it’s being done with every wash.
Wow she’s still young with 8 kids I can’t have that much kids maybe stress me out I have 2 children and 2 grandchildren with me so ur working soo hard for him how old are they I haven’t seen them 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤😍😍😍👏👏👏💐💐💐👍👍👊👊💖💖💖🌹🌹
My stomach is similar after having my 1st child and he’s 11. I feel so ashamed sometimes and now I’m pregnant again I feel like I’ll never lose the skin and chub.
I did this with my wash and truly my towels turned out whiter and fluffier so much for that I couldn’t fit them back into the drawer. I really saw a difference. I put vinegar in as a final rinse on the wash cycle, and I used Oxiclean, borax and super borax.
I miss your whole cleaning videos! when are you going to start doing cleaning videos again!! I used to watch you years ago when you were pregnant cleaning you are the best motivation out there!!❤
Do you have hard water? Do you have oily skin and hair? And you obviously have access to your own washer and do not have to rely on a laundromat. I can assure you laundry stripping does work if your laundry needs it but if you do not have the conditions that set your laundry up to need to be stripped in the first place, of course it will not appear to work for you. Edit: I would like to add that I think some of the videos out there that use a lot of extra ingredients to strip laundry are rediculous. When you start adding acids and bases you are just canceling them out and wasting products. It can also be dangerous to mix a lot of things as you can create some very toxic compounds. And adding a lot of extra soaps is just counter productive to what you are trying to accomplish in the first place.
