Troy Aikmam said that before the game, Roger Staubach said, "I feel so nervous I need to get my ankles taped!" I always wondered, as the game progressed, did Roger give Troy any advice, or just let him play the game?

As an '80s kid, I rooted for the 49ers to beat Dallas. But honestly, in 1992 it was refreshing to see the Cowboys regain their lustre.

This is one of my favorite quirky sports factoids. One NFL catch total, but that one catch is a consequential touchdown in the Super Bowl!! That's crazy! Because of this the name of Percy Howard will always pop up somewhere. Good on him!

Michael Irvin experienced it. How Neil O'Donnell throw all those interceptions in that 1995 Superbowl?

Indeed...who would have thought "Lovin' You" by Minnie Riperton was the song of choice for the game?

That guy said Cowboy fans remember Danny for his losses, not his wins. THAT IS ABSURD!! In the 80's, the Cowboys did not have the team strength or depth they had in the 70's. In fact, Danny was the one holding them together and keeping them relatively competitive. You see what happened in '86 after he got hurt.

Sadly, he has been battling concussion related dementia for the last few years. It's also unfortunate that Jerry Jones hasn't put him in the Ring of Honor while he could enjoy the honor.

Washington only lost one other regular season game all year also by 1 point another Monday nighter against Green bay 48 to 47 a game that my dad went to bed saying the first team to 50 was going to win. Mark Mosley missed a last second 50 yd. field goal wide right to keep my dads prophesy from coming true. MY brother and I was so sure we had won that game as that football left Mosley's foot. He had been such a clutch kicker for so many years. It was probably the second best team Gibbs ever had even though Oakland was able to take us apart in the super bowl. Probably the only game as a Redskin I ever saw Gibbs get out coached in.

The Top Reason You Can Blame Jerry Jones for the Collapse of the Cowboys: He’s responsible. “Jones said any one of 500 coaches could win with the revamped Cowboys.” Yet none did. Before anyone mentions Barry Switzer and Super Bowl XXX: 1. It was still the team Jimmy Johnson built. 2. The Cowboys only won that Super Bowl thanks to their REAL Super Bowl MVP: STEELERS QB Neil O’Donnell (Larry Brown (the NAMED MVP) didn’t intercept shit. O’Donnell threw those passes right to him, with no Steeler receiver within 10 yards of Brown). 3: Once the Cowboys TRULY became Switzer’s team, they promptly fell apart.
