Man, if ANYTHING gets out of whack with these Baron von Frankenstein seats, the dealership will demand $4,000 for the fixing up of it. Why not just get a CARGO VAN and be done with it? With the way the floor is here after you sink all the seats, you cannot shove in and carry anything rough and heavy anyhow, like 8 x 4 plywood or OSB boards. Waste of time and effort. Also, instead of stowing the seats, just remove them entirely, like you could do with the other Caravans and minivans.
What dealership is this and what town May it be location.Please.!. This van would be perfect for me and my wife when we travel out of state visiting family and friends.!. If she gets tired she could take a nap in the back on a air mattress.!. 🥰😇🙏🏽👍
I have the SLT with the Z71 package lifted and straight piped. Sunroof and Bose sound system as well. I guess the only thing I’m missing is the grill and the fact it doesn’t have Denali stitched all over it? I’ll gladly take the savings instead of broadcasting the name of my truck everywhere 😂
Unfortunately the vehicle was never mine, I was just allowed to do a video on it so I can’t just go measure for you. I’m sure the dimensions are somewhere online. Best of luck!!
@@joshatboulevard no problems, I got a Honda Odyssey from the rental company, there is more than space for a bicycle and a suitcase at the back.. thanks
Boot sounds so damn stupid. We do not use the term boot in the USA. If you look at American cars from , say the 1920's and 1930's they did indeed have actual trunk attached to the rear of the car from the factory, so that is why we in the US call it a trunk.@@arbjful
I have a Ram C/V (Cargo Van) that goes down the same production line as the Dodge/Chrysler it was replaced by a Fiat that just can't measure up, mine has 283 hp, plus many of the same features as the Dodge/Chrysler Vans, plus a few more heavy duty options, even deadlocks/alarm, I know people that use them commercially, and get over 400,000 miles out of them, I use mine for hauling bikes to the trails, its one of the best C/V's ever made.
In Europe, all C/Vs have three seats in the first row. In North America, a cargo van will only have 2 seats up front, that is stupid. Also, a C/V is not insulated at all, good luck sleeping in one in the summar or winter. Noisy as hell, too. But obviously the best option for cargo hauling.
Great choice! We purchased a 2016 Town & Country in 2021 for quite cheap (before things went bonkers, especially in California) and converted it to a weekend camper: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jTCcq4K8d-0.html. Keep us posted on your GMC build!
Thank you so much for sharing this! Considering doing a van build on the Caravan. Nice to see the inside without anything, including the seats. Extremely helpful!
Awesome to hear my video could help!! I’m huge into the vanlife myself. I’m going to be working on a full micro camper conversion on a GMC terrain on my main channel @tbkowens sometime this summer is the projected start date on that project.
It’s not to long, someone else pointed out I used a weird lens, which I did. I thought it added a cool look to it. I think going forward I’m going to try some other stuff. Maybe go more in depth on features.
I don't like the distorted video selection you used, makes everything look longer and unreal, ruined my impression of the vehicle and this review. Heck I'm not even sure if this is the XL version or not. First thumbs down I've ever given. Made it about 1/3 of the way thru this video, got frustrated and skipped quickly thru a few places till the end just to see if you changed to regular view but you did not. Oh well.
Thanks for the feedback! Looking to make my content better and advice like this helps a lot! Going to try and make my content better. Hope to see you on the next one!
The SLT with Premium upgrades is a beautiful truck. There are a few missing electronic features (surround vision and information cluster) and sunroof I wouldn't mind having, but I'll save the $12K in price difference.
Good review. SLT looks better and cheaper! Also, I would get tired of those automatic swingout wing steps on the Denali real fast...I can already hear my wife bitching about them too.
I have same truck with a 4 inch lift on top of the stock at4 2inch lift. With 35s 20x10 it rubs. I had to install some bilsteins 5100 up front to crank it up a inch so it doesn’t rub. Oh and fellas the hd mirrors from 2500 fit the 1500. Even though dealer said no!! Lol
