Honestly, Twilight Princess had the best trailer of all the Zelda games. I remember playing the trailer they used this OST for back-to-back before, during, and after the game launched. 18 years layer and this OST still plays in my mind from time to time. This game was hauntingly beautiful.
I rememeber hearing this for the first time. It was started off gloomy and then it hit you with a bit of a sweet melody then when the tuba and cymbals come in... man... so epic ❤❤❤ (
Hopefully they go back to This Style & Direction with Zelda After the Breath of the Wild Games. Imagine a Open World with This Style Direction of Zelda... the way it was SUSPOSED TO BE !
It was beyond perfect, it had soul, it's faults and shortcomings were part of that. It's the only game I've ever bothered playing more than 1 full playthrough of, not counting Rune Factory A Fantasy Harvest Festival though, the DS was just so handy. But all the classic games, they're really just one and done. Ocarina of time, portal, call of duty, runescape, Professor Layton, all the mario games... There's really no games that compare to it. Resident Evil 4 on the Wii maybe, but even then it never had the depth and distance. So many games even in today's "open world" like Fallout New Vegas just don't have what Twilight Princess had. The story made back tracking through areas that changed as you progressed feel like you really changed and saved Hyrule from the ground up. If you've played it, you know the feeling, you can't replace being alongside someone else and growing to care for them, be worried about them, and love them. Midna made me love this game.
OOT was my first Zelda game. MM was more fun overall. I fell in love with Zelda. WW was my favorite in the series so far. TP was supposed to be my fav, but the Wii controller was not my thing, and I never really got to spend any time with it. SS is forgettable. BOTW just felt like a tribute to Zelda. I didn't get into the story's lore and was not a fan of the broken weapon system. I mean, I just collected swords to replace the broken ones. Please, Nintendo, make the master sword unbreakable...
This piece sounds like a darkness that is there, it's a menace, but you are living, doing your jobs, having fun, being you but, when you weren't waiting for it, the darkness finds you, and kidnaped you, something that you weren't waiting but you have to accept it, face it, use it, and you start to have more courage and you have friend now, and you and your friends are facing it, being heroic and powerful even more with time... at the end you are able to destroy it with strength and courage and you remain in peace. If it wasn't for that darkness you never will be as powerful as at the end. You were the chosen one.
This was my first ever Zelda game, bought it having no idea what to play after the magnificence of Mario Galaxy, and with no idea what Zelda was about. It probably started my lifelong love of fantasy stuff. At the time it was the most epic and engrossing thing I’d played in my entire life. I spent hours just hanging around in Ordon, and my mind was blown when I finally got to Hyrule Field. Since then I’ve played most other Zelda games and can recognise others as objectively more groundbreaking for gaming, but Twilight Princess will always be the one that has a special place in my heart. Incredible game.
Does anyone know if there are names for the different sounds you can make with brass instruments? Like you can play the same note and it sounds rough and crunchy or you can make it butter smooth.
