Hi, I'm Spencer! 🙋🏽♀️ I post book-related videos, from reviews to reading vlogs to general bookish rambling. I constantly stray from my TBR and while I'll read just about anything, I'd say my go-to genres are mystery/thriller + romance.

Hello! I listened to one of your podcasts and it had where you could text a question. I did and you never answered it. Just wanted to give you a heads up that something is wrong with your texting. I believe the question was in regards to the bare cozy mystery books. These are really hard to find and I finally found them on Scribd (I think it's Everland now) and they are $15 per book! Is this high to you for a cozy mystery? Can you imagine getting all these books in the series?!
I love the way Richard Osman writes humor in his books. We Solve Murders and the Thursday Murder Club series never fail to have me chuckling out loud! He also writes a lot about grief and loneliness and I think he does it very well. I encourage you to try Thursday Murder Club! The 2nd book is my favorite but every book is strong in its way. We Solve Murders was like a funny, very heartfelt spy novel. I haven't read anything by Ellie Alexander, though I have plans to! Would her new series be a good place to start since it doesn't have a bunch of books to catch up on?
I can't wait to see all of you in Ashland! I loved the Chicagoland Vampire series. Another few series like that are the Kate Daniel's series by Ilona Andrews & the Mercy Thomas series by Patricia Briggs.
I loved your Ashland vlog last year! Can’t wait to see your new vlogs. I really want to plan on attending next year. Where is the best place for me to watch for announcements for next year?
Great recommendations! I'm currently reading three books now 📚, one I just purchased, the Mitzy Moon Mysteries book. I am currently trying to get caught up 😂
Oh my gosh I had no clue you liked drag race! That’s my favorite show I need to send you a DM lol. Also I’m reading book two of the Pumpkin Spice Cafe series, book 3 came out today and it’s Christmas theme but I don’t think I’ll be able to wait till Christmas time to dive in!!
Unpopular opinion. I liked, but didn't love "Thursday Murder Club". I am happy to say I liked it enough to continue the series and each book gets better. Now, I love them.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on We Solve Murders. I am picking mine up from the book store today. You will absolutely love The Thursday Murder Club.
I just found your channel. I haven't read many cozy mysteries but I'd like to start. I'll have to come back to this video and add the books to a document. Right now I've got to leave. Thanks.
I have a real mystery I wish someone could solve!!! What has happened to the Scrapbook Mystery series that Laura Childs writes??!!! She is still writing the Tea Shop mysteries. Laura advertised a new Scrapbook a while back but nobody knows why it was never released! The title had Red in it about a skeleton dug up in the French Quarter. Thank you !! Hoping for more Scrapbook mysteries!!!
I'm visually impaired so I do a lot of audiobooks. You can actually train yourself after a while to listen on 2x speed. If you think about it, in an action book you don't have to know details, just the story plot so it's easier to listen faster on that type of audiobook. My training came from college. It's either sink or swim and I knew that I had to learn real fast how to do things on audio because I could not keep up reading with the rest of the class visually.
Great video! Thank you! I love love love Ellery Adams’ Secret, Book and Scone Society series, and book 4 (Ink & Shadows) takes place in the fall 🍁 That book is on KU at the moment, and I think some of the others in the series are too. 🤓 📚
Great selection. I'm still working through your last list. Keep going back to that video :) Have you read the Ruth Morgan series? Hadfield Hall is out soon. It has a Halloween vibe. My last purchase was the Cornish Wedding Murder.
Shady Hollow is amazing! I've read all the books and they are just cozy and fun <3 I'm hoping to read the Teacups and Murder book (lol maybe not in time but soon)
