This was a brilliant documentary. Very interesting and chillingly factual. Stockton seemed to be locked into his own extreme beliefs, unable to accept factual warnings from experienced seamen and scientists. The people who died also pushing aside real death risks, attempting to achieve the ultimate in human endeavours but sacrificed themselves instead, at the altar of 'ego mania'. .
