Just found your channel and subscribed. I’ve been binging your reviews which are amazing. I love the content and honest reviews. I’m a kayak fisherman…. And usually carry 8 rods. I think you’re pushing me to a 9th…. LOL. I’d like to see some skipping techniques…. I’ve tried it… not very good at that. Thanks for sharing your insight!
I think the Elite rods are a great rod series! My bread and butter are the Sig Series. What are your thoughts on the Elite Series rods? I love the Crankbait models in the Custom Lite Rods. They are SWEET!!!!!! Plus the Hollow Frog Rod is fire also.
@JB3_fishing i love how light and well balanced i have med hey medium and hvy last a spinning medium, i like the feel of them, just feel right, I have mixture of others st croix g looms fenwick abu garcia, love everything about them but weight and balance
Love your channel, big Lew's fan. Love their warranty on their rods they have great customer service. Would like to see a video of you using that custom lite catching some fatties. Congrats on the 1K subs.
@JB3_fishing my custom lite rods are 6'9 MH Fast & 7'3 Heavy Fast! I want the Signature Series and Pro-Ti Rod, but I haven't found them locally! I don't like ordering online for fishing gear, guns, & hunting gear. I like to see & touch my guns, rods, reels, and gear before I buy

Do a video for lews signature series swimbait rod,reel,line set up, I have recently changed all my rods to the signature series & have fell in love with them & I really enjoy your videos you do on the signature series rods bc it really helps me know exactly what reel & lures to be matching up with the rods & I also like how you give real world examples to help your viewers really understand, thank you so much & I greatly appreciate all your content…!!!

Thank you JB for the good review on the Lew's rod. It's right in my price range, lol. Although I love the pricey rods and reels, I'm concerned that the industry is pricing itself out of the range of a lot of people. When you go to a big box store there are numerous brands that are much cheaper but the quality is horrendous. I'd love to see a video that highlights decent gear at a reasonable price. I know that it's hard to do well, but I'd love to see you on the water once in a while.

I too am a big Lews fan, I think that is what brought me to your channel. I would also like to see some crankbait action and more info about how you choose a certain crank, for a certain situation. Keep up the good work.

I order mine directly from Lew's. I've never had that happen before but rods breaking from shipping happens from time to time no matter where you order them from due to negligence from the delivery service. That's where good customer service comes into play. It sucks that happens but that's the nature of the beast. It happens to the retailers also.
Another great video JB! Very informative. How about a video on the Lews rod blanks? There are so many to choose from. My favorite is the signature series because they are light and strong!

@JB3_fishing Curious about the Focus blanks. Are there any strengths or weaknesses such as sensitivity or weight with the materials? KVDs have terrific actions but some are a little heavy. I'm 61 years old. Hence, the Sig series!
Been watching you for a couple months, love the content man especially when it comes down to the reviews. Honestly I’d like to see you use whatever technique you talk about on the water. That would be very beneficial. Keep it up man!
I use a lews LFS on Kevins GC2 rod with 12lb xps floro. Thinking about getting the team lews rod. Caught 2 bass on same cast 1st time on the deep series!
It’s not a last last technique we don’t do it anymore because you GUT hook a LIT of fish not a good idea not necessary tons of other ways to catch fish
The reason anglers gut hook the fish is due to waiting too long to set the hook and not having a sensitive rod. You have to have the right rod for the that technique
@@JamesHotDogJackson-l5l The ParaMag ITB featured in the Custom Pro has a ring that moves/adjust as you’re making a cast and it helps with the braking to minimize backlashes. The ParaMag RX featured in the Custom has a similar ring also but it stays stationary. The ring in booth helps with backlashes overall. I hope this helps.

@@PATHETIC_DISASTER If you say so but if it breaks you get NO warranty for it either so to buy a JDM reel and no warranty sounds like a waste of moment imo
@@JB3_fishing Who breaks baitcasters, tho? Cheapo baitcasters are really hard to break, let alone a high quality Made in Japan one. This "you have the warranty when buying in the US" is just an excuse of making you purchasing a far inferior reel. And this applies to Daiwa themselves as well. Buying the Zillion G that is made in Thailand, and costs $170 more (before taxes) is the biggest waste of time and money there is. With the current yen, ignoring JDM gear is simply foolish.
I truly enjoy that reel. I have it spooled with 50lb braid and paired up with a medium powered rod. It’s amazing for swim baits and weightless Texas rigs.
There is no shade in my area. I wach this and got The same but didn't color in a bluegill tip color. In the Desert is different than even like Western Texas. Southern Rio Grande.
