Has the way a toilet or urinal flushes ever been interesting to you? If so, the Sanitaryware Channel is for you! While the vast majority of people simply flush and do not give it another thought thinking all flushes are equal, here at the Sanitaryware Channel we recognize the differences. Sure all fixtures share the common goal of flushing away waste, but each individual toilet and urinal has its own unique way of doing so. The Sanitaryware Channel is dedicated to observe how plumbing fixtures have changed over the generations.
Disclaimer: I am solely interested in the fixtures [toilets, urinals, sinks, etc.] themselves NOT the people within the restrooms. I ensure that the space in which I am filming is void of people. I understand that there may be certain individuals who may not agree with my content-I kindly ask to simply not watch my content and allow the Toilet Community to remain in peace. In other words, please do not sue me. Thank you for your support and understanding.
This restroom doesn’t exist anymore since this former Nordstrom store was completely gutted in 2023, and is being turned into something completely else.
Swirly Afwalls from 1968 - 1996 were the best. You're missing an earlier first gen model prior to 2008 that had the same trapway, but no siphon jet protrusion 1/2" into the trapway and came in swirly (if lots of FV pressure applied), and non-swirly (straight flush w/ horrible bowl rinse) versions. Then from 2008 onwards we have the last terlit, which started out as swirly, but now it's not... Sad state of 💩ty affairs!
