Great question Marcus, I don't have a ton of cables that hang down on the ground in my home. I will say that it does sometimes struggle with chairs or end tables with low feet. For example I have an end table in my living room and the base looks like a start trek symbol so basically a triangle and my mop vacuum will try to ramp that thing all day long before giving up. The mop does take pictures of objects and you can relabel the picture to help the AI better identify chairs so there is a possibility of improvement with an update. You can also add no go zones as well if the mop doesn't seem to figure it out. Hope that helps!
@@TheElectrocar thank you for your reply. I have bought this model and I think its very good.I tested the obstacle avoidance system, by planted a black cable on wood imitated vinyl floor. 2 times It drove over the cable. The third time it recognized and avoided it. So i think its AI system learns, it needs just a little experience. Very good job. Im satisfied with the buy.
To be fair, I heard this sound when I stood up from the HM chair at DWR a couple of weeks ago and first thing I thought about was those that asked this question.
I'm guessing the reason you hear so many loud fans is not only because you and one other person are charging, I think the solar panels are charging Tesla's battery bank and running fans to cool them. Just a guess. Can't think of any other reason you'd hear fan noise far away from where you're charging.
According to the Tesla website this location is open to non Tesla's with the correct Tesla charging adapter. www.tesla.com/findus?v=2&bounds=33.66373893648378%2C-114.23864637036132%2C33.65997053532494%2C-114.24104962963867&zoom=18&filters=store%2Cservice%2Csupercharger%2Cdestination%20charger%2Cbodyshop%2Cparty%2Cself%20serve%20demo%20drive%2Cnacs%2Cdelivery%20centers&location=27261
I thought of Arizona when I first started looking because I live in California and wanted to live close by in case I got homesick, lol, but I don't like the cactus and the drab colors and all. I wanted green and trees and flowers like I have here in California so I rejected Arizona and I'm glad. I ended up picking Georgia of all places. Never been there; don't know anybody there but it reminds me of where I live in California and the prices are so much better. I'm closing in a couple weeks and my walkthrough is Monday. I purchased one of those walk-in-ready homes and it is very nice.. I hope I don't get homesick because I will be stuck...don't have enough to move back. I really wouldn't want to anyway, lol! I'm sure I will like it. It will be a whole new world for me.
I had the same issue years ago when I tried their body wash (probably around the time this video was made) but I must say their body wash and shampoo feel much different now. There must have been a reformulation or something because they feel much more improved
Hi there, flooring is holding up well, although my robot mop has a high time getting the floor clean with the coin pattern. I ordered 10 boxes and had 2 boxes left over.
Quartzite actually has a total of 120 Tesla Superchargers!! There are 84 at the new site you visited, but there are an additional 36 at the old site not far away.
You'll notice the lack of windshield cleaners and garbage cans at each station yet this is done at the gas station pumps. Get with the programme Tesla and other charging places. At least they cover them with the solar panels..And, they wonder why EV adoption in North America is at a snail's pace. Not very convenient is it? I do indeed own an EV do not a troll but we are soooo far behind countries like Norway, Germany, Denmark etc., it's not funny.
Wow, 37 cents per kwh. That explains how they can afford to build it. The last time I paid for electricity was last winter in TX it was only 16 cents/kwh from an RV park that marked up their electricity to pay for other park amenities, like facility maintenance and trash pick-up.
Previously Tesla said the supercharging network wouldn’t be a profit center but I believe is no longer the case with rates that high. Rates keep going up and it won’t be any cheaper to charge than using gas.
@@TheElectrocar I suppose the speed and convenience could justify the higher rates of this remotely located charging station. The vast majority of ev charging is done for much lower rates at home and work; so, having to occasionally pay more for the convenience of a remote charging station shouldn't be a deal breaker..
Very true, I only use the suparcharging network when travelling long distance and 99% of the time I charge at home. Rates in AZ are still dirt cheap at night so costs me less than a dollar to charge. I only travel 25 miles to and from town.
Hey Michael thanks for documenting your experience. I'm in the early stages of building a home with CENTEX/PULTE down here in Tucson and your videos are helpful
For edge mopping the Dreame Ultra has an option in the app settings need to be activated, then the robot rotates itself 45 degree frequently so it mops hits the room edges better, you can also set how frequent that rotation has to be. After a long search I found out this is best robot available in the market right now for my use and it really proves that. Nice review and happy that YT suggested your video.
Hi Robert, thank you for the comment and much appreciate the feedback that there is a new edge cleaning setting. Just turned it on and looking forward to observing its new behavior.
Hey there Patrick, my overall purchase was good, not bad, not great but good. I've been in my home for over 2 years now. One thing I'm happy about is the semi customizeable options that Pulte offered compared to some of the other home builders in the area. Our 1 year home inspection was done on time and items fixed up promptly. If you do file a warranty issue in your first year, Pulte did a good job of reaching right away to talk about the issue and setting up the correct trades to come out and address it. Maybe I should do a video of any issues that popped up during my first year of ownership.
@@TheElectrocar thank you so much… I completely understand things happen but I wanted the perspective of an actual buyer. Reviews can’t be the whole story because 9 out of 10 times the people with the good reviews don’t post anything
Hi there, a commenter today let me know there is a new edge cleaning feature available. I turned it on and I’ll observe the cleaning over the next few cleaning to see if there is improvement.
I absolutely hate the auto high beams. It pissed me off when Tesla included this feature with auto pilot. I just got in the habit of pushing my left stalk forward every single time I engage autopilot. Trash feature.
I am convinced I get a shorter range when driving at night. I fail to see how blinding other drivers at night with the force of Elon Musk's psych problems is necessary; my Tesla's range suffers as though I'm hauling around the head-lightness of Elon Musk's obesity. Tesla should address the headlight problem in their next update.
Just had this done today. I'm a baby when it comes to seeing stuff done to me so it was cool to see the camera POV and what they were doing in there. Thanks for the video!
Hi there, I reached out to Car Buyer USA for an offer and they did purchase my Tesla. Had a good experience with them. I was paid promptly for the equity in my car and the car loan was paid off within two weeks. Their appraiser was extremely thorough so be prepared for them to try and talk you down on the initial appraised value that they give you over the phone or email.
Surprisingly quick, Carmax transferred ownership over to me 3 days after I signed the paperwork and I was able to login once the transfer was complete.
No issues with the poly and bark furniture. The leather is quite sturdy and the chair I have in the garage is developing a nice patina as it gets used often.
would you say your vision kept improving for the first few weeks ? i had my lasik three days ago and my vision is definitely better than before but it is worse than what i had with my glasses
Hi Michael! I’m about to receive my car. And I would like to tint it with Llumar. Can you tell me if the 70% windshield is still great for night driving? I’m actually not sure if I should go for the 50% or 70%. I’m ok for some privacy, but I still want to have a comfortable night driving after the office haha. As for the side and rear, what % are you using? Thanks! And sorry to comment here, the comments of your original video was off.
Hi David. Thanks for the comment, I turned The comments back on on the tint review vid. Appreciate you letting me know they were off. 70% ceramic tint is definitely the way to go for the front windshield. In my opinion you're really just wanting to maximize heat reduction but not reduce visibility, so 70% is the way to go. Night driving is not an issue and honestly I even forget I have my front windshield tinted because it looks the same as stock. I have a new Tesla model 3 now and I have the windshield and passenger and driver side windows tinted in solargard vortex 70% ceramic tint. Makes a huge difference in AZ summers when it starts hitting 100°+ out. One thing about ceramic tint though is I have noticed performance decline the longer the car is in the sun. Meaning the first 30-45 min you'll hardly notice any heat transfer when putting your hand close to the tinted window but once an hr goes by you'll start to feel the heat transfer through. Hope that helps!
@@TheElectrocar thank you so much for your reply Michael! I think that I will go for the 70 or 50. I’m living in South Korea, so the law are different than in the US. I followed your channel 🙌 Have a good day!
Maintenance has been straightforward so far. We did get a pool cover to keep the chlorine levels consistent as we head into our hot summer months. The pool vacuum does most of the work however the baja shelf does require daily brushing since the vacuum can't get up there. Our pool filter is mostly clean although a few bugs here and there and since we have no plans to add trees or vines, we shouldn't see any increase of having to clean the filter.
With glasses no but without glasses def had halos. With glasses my prescription was around -3.6 which make nigh driving without glasses impossible. Hope that helps!
Glad I found your videos! We’re waiting for our new home to be built out here in SoCal and a pool will be our first project. Just curious, what are your backyard dimensions?
Nice videos... but what is the wheel thingy in the ground. I am watching your videos because we are under contract with Pulte and I am also curious what homes are like in different parts of the US. I am in Vegas.
