Maybe any other chance but she seems to actually have respect and actually care about Horizion in some way possible. With anyone else I could see her being her usual backstabbing self but for some reason not with Horizon.
@@thewidowskiss7675 she "respects" horizon bc across numerous timelines, her time travel experiments to get back to newton have destroyed reality. alter has seen in happen in multiple dimensions and is trying to make it happen again now. she sees horizon as the bringer of armageddon
If Horizon travels back in time to see Newton, she would more than likely stay there with him and leave the Apex Games. So my headcanon is that Horizon realizes Alter is helping her just so she can see the end of reality, and that going back in time to see Newton is what would end reality, so she selflessly gives up her goal of finding Newton and stays in the Apex games
