LARRY L AND FRANKIE KNUCKLE WERE IN MY MIND THE ORIGINATORS OF HOUSE. THEIR STYLE ALLOWED FOR OTHERS TO FOLLOW AND THEY ALWAYS BROUGHT A LITTLE SOMETHING DIFFERENT MUSIC WISE TO THEIR MIXES. MEANING THEY PLAYED SONGS U WOULD NOT HERE ANYWHERE. NO OTHER DJ WAS MIXING THOSE RECORDS IN THEIR MIXES. PLUS MANY WILL CLAIMED TO BE FROM NEW YORK BUT ONLY A FEW OR SLIGHTLY MORE THAN THAT NO ABOUT LL AND FRANKIE. U HAD TO BE A PERSON OPEN MINDED TO ALLOW YOURSELVES TO BE FREE AND BE ON “THE SCENE!” NOT EVERYONE WAS DOWN FOR THE SCENE ESPECIALLY WHEN AIDS STARTED TO HAPPEN. SO RIP TO LARRY L AND FRANKIE KNUCKLES WHO MADE THE 70’s/80’s WORTH BEING APART OF AND ENJOYED!!
I heard this song when i was in america in 1993, i heard it at nyc club in santa barbara, and i thought it was amazing the whole club night was ace, it was just like the kind of dance that had been big in the uk in the late 80s and u cud hear some of the samples from that on the tunes played, as america is where it all orginated anyhow.
