I love doing my nails and makeup, the sparklier the better! I try to review every polish collection from OPI, Essie, Zoya, and China Glaze, and ones from Mooncat, KB Shimmer, and ILNP. I'm new to makeup but I am having a lot of fun learning as I go along, and I'd love to have you join me 😅
Waste of space is def my fav, there are so many colors in there you cant see on first glance. Totally agree on the copper tones too. Your eye makeup looks amazing by the way and I love how softly and calm you speak. Thanks for this amazing vid :)
It is really expensive! Nomad Cosmetics runs really good sales though - I think their next one is planned for Earth Day, so maybe you can pick it up then :D

Ooh, Odd Squad is sweet, and I'm into the Basic shade too; I think everything else, I have a dupe for. They all look great on you, you have lovely shaped nails! It's definitely a non-standard set for the season, but I kinda get the concept, it feels like a winter getaway thing to me.
TY, this was really helpful-- I've actually been dithering about which of these to get for my mom, who loves blue and green eyeshadow, (I got her CP's Fresh Greens and she loved it) but as she's 92, she doesn't need a lot of glitter or patchy shades; think I'll go with Blue Moon. I agree, Cloud Blue is a good addition-- I went for In a Trance, so figured I don't need both, but might grab it for the gift for Mom. So glad a rec for you popped up today!
None of the videos or swatches do this set justice . In person they are enchanting. I actually see these on my nails through summer even more than spring. I look forward to summer if elements are the theme they probably be fire.
Sea spray is so pretty in person and in sunlight it looks pink but mostly copper shimmer with even a slightest bit of sea green or aqua. I’m wearing The gorgeous morning dew and it’s like a moving ombré. So pretty. I liked wearing the ripple effect ,it reminded me of rich girls and po boys Opi in the bright medium blue. The shimmer is pretty in it too. I was planning to do a different one each day this week but I really like morning dew. I love how the wistful waterlily looks but have not worn it in full hand or all day. The cream is a pretty pink .im not a pink girl but it’s pretty. I love the shimmers and I’d be happy if I only got shimmers. This is my first color box and I am a Pisces sun and moon so it’s pretty great for that. Watery shimmers are my faves especially when it looks like light on the water or in it. Also love Orly polish and I’m glad I got a set of colors that I know I’ll get a lot of use of. This is a fun way of getting polish .i love surprise or mystery boxes. I actually decided to do color pass to keep myself from buying a bunch of polishes . Thinking if every few months I’ll get a new set, will keep it fun and not bad habit. Also no duplicates so it’s always fresh and fun.
Yes, this set is amazing! And I agree I would be happy with a collection filled with shimmers :D I love them all but I think Morning Dew is my #1 favorite.
It's such a great deal! It's hard to justify if you like to pick and choose which collections you buy, but if you know you'll probably get at least a couple polishes from each release it's worth it.
That company F-ed up. Costumer service is the number one reason I buy from a brand. Number 2 and 3 are the quality of the product and accurate representation of the product. I'm into small business and I know they don't have the resources big businesses have, but they made a mistake there anyway. The only boutique nail polish company I buy from is ILNP because of their fabulous costumer service. They go above and beyond. K B Shimmer replaced a crelly I had for many years. I told them they didn't have to...I guess I had a question about it or something? and they sent me a new bottle. That keeps me coming back. If I were you I would contact them again. I would point out that you are a loyal long time costumer and ask for a refund or replacement again, telling them how disappointed you are and that you made a video. You might want to move on if they don't comply.
Yes, this is my mindset too! I have almost always had great customer service buying makeup and polish, so I was incredibly disappointed with this experience. I might try again but honestly I don't know if I'd even use the new palette because now I have all these negative feelings about it.
@MollysManicuresandMakeup yes I agree and I had the same issue with the rainbow shade, the dark blue is very very thin and I look every pictures from the brand or influencer who got it in PR and for some reason their shade is ok. I am very desapointed with that and I think the brand should send a single to replace that shade
The no replacements for shipping issues is insane... I bought their first palette and to be honest didn't like it. It was so rare and everyone loved it so I sold on mercari. The palette was damaged in shipping due to their super soft nature. The buyer was luckily a pro and just repressed them but I am sure this happens A LOT. The shadows were extremely fragile back then, not sure if they still are.
Hello there! Thank you for the video. One suggestion: Use a basecoat to prevent any future staining :)! Cannot wait for more Zoya videos, such a wonderful brand with many collections!
Aww thank you! I do use a base coat (actually have tried three different ones) but nothing prevents the staining 😭 Maybe I just need thicker coats? I've used Essie's ridge filling base coat, OPI's standard base coat, and Orly's peel off base coat.
@@MollysManicuresandMakeup Putting more thought to it, I realized the film coating agent Nitrocellulose in nail polish can actually cause yellowing due to exposure in water; Nitrocellulose turns into Nitric Acid (which is what actually causes the yellowing. I actually havent experienced it however because I change my polishes super often lol
