Make twin knives one with a black handle and orange inserts, and then make one with an orange handle and black inserts. Maybe drop point Bowie

Cute Wabbit. The knife is fine too, but too bad it didn't turn out more similar on both sides.

Next time maybe you should fold it over so that you get a stronger blade

Not gonna lie, I love the roughness of the spine. Sure, it's not going to hold up to a thorough beating, but if you don't need to beat on it then who cares, it looks rad af. And hell, I like to think of myself as a cool little dud. Doesn't make me bad either, just a little different, and I'm sure there's at least a couple people who think I'm rad as hell anyways too. It's awesome to get to watch you work, and even more awesome to get to see you try new things. Keep having fun with it, keep it real, and I'll keep watching.

Still a cool looking blade. I think it looks like mountain peaks,Would some thin sheets between the layers of the chain help with the gaps so you don't have to use powder? Maybe it would help form around the curves?
@JPsBladeworks

If i had done it in sanmai even without powder im pretty sure it would have grabbed on better with a strong core.

You rush the forge welding, that's why it keeps breaking. Slower presses, more manual work prior, don't over compress the billet.

Your powered tools take the majority of the artisanal nature from your work. A power hammer? That isnt a hand made knife. You knew that. You know your work is amature trash.

Man, I love how they sit here and say that you’re negligent because of your finger placement but yet you have a forge you have metal that’s hundreds are you feeling if not a 1000° hot hammers you’re using acid like you have everything else I can use you so much more harm than your band yet yet they are only worried about that 8:08
