DADGONE! This guy is great! I do not know how ANY one could do it better. Every note crystal clear and cut off exactly as it should. The three most noted Dobro players in the world; Josh Graves, Jerry Douglas and Mike Aldridge would be proud I am sure. May Jesus continue to bless this person with gifts only from Heaven.
Greg Thank you for Music that only the professionals love. This kinda music should be on Radio and Television daily. It is so awesome more children should be learning it from a Professional Master like yourself, and forever being played the way you teach it. Love it.
I could listen to this music even in my Grave. Cheers to the Guitar player, your worth a million bucks my Friendly foe, I am from Belfast Northern Ireland.
Played the resonating guitar (DOBRO) 20 years and my mouth fell open when I heard this!! I tried to follow him but give up! This is usually played on the harmonica but seldom on anything else.
@@aksliderdobro I play OBS on the harmonica about double speed. (IF I got the air!😋) I can play it about half Greg's speed on the Dobro but not with his licks!
Hello Greg, that is the best thing I have ever heard, thank you for that! Cheers to RU-vid, unfortunately only now! I play steel myself and can call myself one of the lucky few who owns a PedaBro (Franklin Guitars)! I have always been interested in the Dobro, but when I devoured your videos yesterday and today I was motivated to the core, and the dropt E is amazing, why didn't I come across it sooner, thank you very much!
Thank you! I had a career playing psg full time in house bands during the oil boom in Alaska from the mid 70s thru the 90s. Although I admired all of Paul Franklin’s work with the PedaBro I never was interested in the dobro until I stopped playing music full time for a while and realized that the dobro was cool and not a step backwards. Coming to the dobro as I did at age 53, I brought a lifetime of playing steel (and banjo before that) to the table and it definitely informed my approach.
