Thank you for giving us this. You are the truth of the ritmo that is what we all have somewhere is this existence. But you, you express it like Majic, like nature. you speake it forth, in it's perfection. Mi es un hombre muis sincero. Gracias
Thanks for your message. Giovanni went through amputations because of diabetes complications. Although unfortunate, he keeps playing and is in good spirits, always creating and sounding great!
I am sorry to hear people are having "issues" about this valuable video. In any case here are the names of some of the Bay Area conga drummers who played: John Santos, Harold "Butch" Haynes, John Bendich, and David Frazier. I am fortunate to have known these fine drummers from the 1960s and 1970s and it´s great to see they are still at it.
again Giovanni shows that he is a truly superior role model for human beings. that is really what greatness is. He has also given inspiration to an incredibly maligned and mis-treated Cuba. at it's roots Salsa is Cuba . those roots come from a largely free intermixing of " blacks " and " whites. " Brazil was also another country that produced a famous style of music through the same sentiment. where the common person sees race, i only see whether a person is a superior person or not. that leaves out the majority and includes Giovanni.
