It went well... On one of the days I returned back to the tent and one of the front tie down points (the plastic D ring) had snapped, so the tapered door wasn't fully tort, and as it was heavy rain at Download Festival this year, I had a slight puddle in the porch. But I was still able to tie down the front again, even though the D ring had snapped. There is a slight hack to closing the front middle part of the door though... as if you don't tie the inner loop with the outer loop, a puddle gathers in the bottom lip and eventually falls into the porch if it's not secured properly. A few of us in camp had that issue
Nice review. , I've just bought same tent for motorbike rallies , a bit heavy compared to my three man (person😏) tent Let us know how it was in the rain . I haven't used mine yet 👍👍👍
Bought this exact tent for the exact same reason as you, I'm just hoping Download isn't as wet as its predicted to be 😂 it seems to be a popular tent so I'm putting my Sunderland scarf on the outside just so I know which one is mine 😂 if I see you I'll buy you a Liquid Death 😂😂😂
It came in very handy this year with the rain! I was at the Avalanche stage for most of Friday, so it was handy having some ready in the bag, so I didn't have to venture out to a food stall :D Saved a few quid too!
