Magnificent! This performance was completely lost on the audience, who obviously was unfamiliar with the music. They should have leaped to their feet! A spectacular achievement by Kim. She tosses off this fiendishly difficult music as if it were a study by Czerny. Bravissimo!
What a musician! she is amazing! imagine comparing some idiot playing a few chords on the guitar to her. yet these half-baked "Guitar Gods" are worshipped as heroes. what a joke!

Being somewhat obsessed with Caténaires, I have probably listened to a least a dozen versions on RU-vid. Sanyoung Kim's is my favorite - She pays the most attention to dynamics, accents, colors and harmony. (Yes, there is harmony in Carter's music!). Most versions are mere virtuoso vehicles, which explains why it is so popular at competitions. Not with Miss Kim - It is a masterful, highly musical composition. Bravo!!
Eine grandiose Interpretation, absolute Weltklasse, meiner Meinung nach. Schade, daß nur so wenige Leute das Video bislang gehört & gesehen haben. Und unter den wenigen gibt es dann auch noch zu allem Überfluß zwei extrem schräge Vögel, die glauben, hier einen Daumen nach unten anbringen zu müssen. Was soll der Quatsch?
