CPI is a Tennessee non-profit, membership organization founded in 2005, whose mission is to provide and maintain a self-sustainable, vision-driven, and ever-upgrading interaction space; and to empower the educational programs, support functions, and social opportunities that strengthen the BDSM/Fetish/Kink community of Nashville, Middle Tennessee, and beyond.
Our facility -- The Mark -- in south Nashville provides 6000 sqft of social, classroom, and play space, all of which are secure, clean, comfortable, gender-neutral, and ADA accessible... providing a safe space for open-minded people to be themselves among others who understand.
This place will not help you with any sexual assualt, nor will the ban KNOWN assualters from their locations. Known to victim shame on online platforms.
We are going to be visiting 12/3 through 12/10 and would like to tryout the club. Just wondering if it has opened yet and what is best night to attend? We love going to fetish parties in Fort Lauderdale and thought this would be fun.
I couldn't love this more. What an excellent description of our community and explanation as to why the kink community and places like The Mark mean so much to people like me. I enjoyed the comment in the video about Anne Rice's Sleeping Beauty books too. Long before I realized I was kinky, I read them all. I remember trying to understand the physicality of some of the acts described in those stories and I never could wrap my mind around some of them. LOL
If you have not been to The Msrk, you owe itto yourself to get their once Covid is under control and they reopen. It is one of the nicest, professionally run, organized, and fun play spaces you can visit. The volunteers there are second to none and will definitely feel like you have always been part of their family. Can't say enough great things about the playspace, its volunteers, and Mercury's handling of operations.
As a member, I can attest to the fact that The Mark is really as clean as it looks in the photo - that was one of my chief concerns before I ever visited and I was pleasantly surprised to find it is kept so clean! The Mark is truly my 'Cheers', my home away from home. It's about the safe, fun playspace equipment, of course, but the large social area is where I spend a lot of time visiting with friends in the community.
