Portugal travel vlog. Hi my name is Carlos. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Portugal, Europe and the rest of the world. Showing you the most interesting and fun places.
Another great video! 2 questions, if I may, that I haven't seen answered elsewhere - is it safe to drink out of the fountains in the cities? And I saw a lot of small "houses" on stilts along the side of the road - I believe they had crosses on them - both in Portugal and Spain; what are these
Hello. If it city water yes.. Some of them will have a sign that is not treated water. I would not drink from that.. The small houses on stilts to store corn or grains.. They have stilts so rats cant get in..
How do you go from Lisbon to Fatima if you do not have motocycle? Is it worth to spend the night in Fatima or you can continue to Porto after seeing the sanctuary?
Hello.. Bus would be the best choice to go to Fatima. There are NO trains to Fatima.. 2 to 3 hours in Fatima probable will see most of it, Its nice there... Lisbon and Porto are much nicer and bigger (cities).
@@mattiavitale6036 You can do as may kilometers as you want to per day.. Can do half of that if you want to. If there is a place to stay.. Its your adventure..
Great video. I am starting my hike in Oia to Santiago in the fall 2024 with my family. Thank you for showing the type of paths to expect. That’s helpful. Did you happen to fly into Porto then start your hike in Tui? Thanks!
It not that busy at that time.. More albergues to satay.. Just enjoy the Camino one step at the time.. I usually go to Albergue Ideas Peregrinas, Tui a couple of times a week for a coffee. Who knows we might run into each other..
Thanks Carlos. I enjoyed your photos and commentary. Your coffee jokes too made me laugh as I thought of how desperate for a café I felt some mornings on other Caminos. I hope to do el Camino Portugues in a few weeks time. Buen Camino , amigo.
Boa tarde vou começar a fazer este caminho em Maio23. Ainda nao publicou a parte 2. Neste caminho do sul não há muitas alternativas para alojamento. obrigado
Thank you. Good to see this Camino be known and walked by pilgrims. Good to see my Santiago do Cacém, the Alentejo´s landscapes and this mural painted by me. Also thank you for the info about accomodation. You are certain, all days are the best day ever. Have a nice Camino.

Hi Luzern... There are few buses at the airport that go to Valença. Thats the fastest way... Bus companies: Autna, Rede Expressos, ALSA... If you decide to go by train then you have to Porto city by metro or bus (in the airport) it takes more time. Then from Porto - Campanhã Railway Station can go to valença. Bueno camino.. Enjoy..
