When you speak to him again, just tell him to start posting RU-vid videos. I see so many unhoused monetizing /getting so many views....They only need 1K followers to monetize. If he posts, just a short video daily, he will gain followers in no time!!! He doesn't need fancy equipment. BUT, he does need a phone!!
As a former gymnast myself I appreciate the way Sam broke down how the sport works at the Olympics -- much better than I've tried to do myself with so many people watching for the first time. But I totally get what Shawn is saying about Simone: everyone new who she is, and things she's the greatest thing at the Olympics. Not many people outside the gymnastics world knew or remembered who Mikayla is. Had Simone not made that caption it would have been all about her compliments, but instead everyone is looking up Mikayla and talking about the beef. And the fact that's the first thing she went to after her big win shows that Mikayla really did get to her. We're not saying Simone did something wrong, just that we'd love to see her rise about as a Champion and leave anyone with negative opinions in the dust rather than get down and play in the dirt.
Omygoodness Locks is so adorable. I used to worry about choking. It's good to know what to do in case it happens. There's plenty of vids on that. TY for bringing Locks in so we can goo goo ga ga over him.
Maybe Dre is wearing on me here, but I see a whole lot of Dre in Locks! He is growing up so fast! Baby might have light hair and blue eyes, but those eyes still say Dre all day!
Thank you both for speaking so freely on a highly polarizing topic! It’s brave. Weird that it’s considered “brave” but that’s the world we live in unfortunately. It was fun to listen to.
Just a couple things..... I too am in Tennessee, but I am more on the Blue side. I have family that have been told they are not allowed back in their childhood church because they voiced that they are gay. I also have a sibling that left the country because they did not feel that they could safely be themselves in the state- one of their best friends was beaten while riding his bike bc he is gay. You mentioned the firefighter that would help anyone without judgement, and yet my sibling is in the public service industry where he would not judge before saving someone's life, but yet he was judged every day, primarily by the Republicans. The fact that you can sit there are state the the Democrats are the loudest side, while the Republicans don't feel it's ok to voice their views literally has my mouth dropped wide open. I work in an industry where because I live in TN, all my coworkers assume I am aslo a Trump fan. I hear on the daily all their comments, and feelings for Trump and being against the Democrats. I do not feel like I can openly voice my views. I live in the South where trucks with flags fly daily voicing their agreeance for Trump, and to @#$#@# Biden. I do not feel comfortable even placing a Biden sign in my yard. I am also a woman who nearly died because of an ectopic pregnancy, so forgive us who have something to voice our feelings about. While I highly disagree on the Left being so much louder, maybe it's because we have so much more to fight for. And the feeling bad for what people say about Trump, while I do not condone it, this is the same man who speaks of women and others in a derogatory manner and doesn't think twice about it. And is it not the Republicans that are so quiet and afraid to speak that are holding massive rallies, and storming the Capitol?
RU-vid has deleted the following comment several times from various videos where I posted it. In addition they have falsely accused me of "hate speech", blocked my ability to post comments for a set time period, and threatened various actions against me. The DSM-5 (apparently a banned book in youtube's opinion) changed Gender Identity Disorder to Gender Dysphoria, supposedly to reduce "social stigma". It is obvious that they are just playing word games however when you realize that DSM stands for Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of MENTAL DISORDERS. Another mental disorder listed in that publication is Anorexia Nervosa. If a doctor decided to validate the way an anorexic teen "identified" (as she was starving herself to death) and put her on a crash diet, that doctor would likely wind up in prison for the predictable fatality. We don't have Anorexia Pride Parades so why are we expected to not only accept but to celebrate other mental disorders? And although the totalitarian youtube has accused me of hate speech for saying such things, I do NOT hate anyone suffering from a mental illness, I'm just not going to march in their parade.
Thank you for having Riley! She’s one of my heroes for telling the truth despite heavy opposition! As the mother of a daughter, we need women like her fighting for Title IX, etc.
