I am going to be honest with you. My channel is not really about becoming a big youtuber, hell to be honest I fear the attention that would bring. My channel started mostly for me to watch my own gameplay because every once in a while I want to do that.
Yes, I'm weird that way.
A lot of videos I make are just large, unedited chunks of gameplay(ESPECIALLY my For Honor videos) every once in a while there is the actual art project sprinkled in. If you would like some videos that make actual effort, try my Never Cut a Deal with a Dragon and Rise of the Beastmen series as well as a few other playlists.
Also the further back in time you go the lower quality my videos will be. We've come a long way tbh.
I wish youtube studio allowed you to mute parts of your video so you could censor idiots and their ramblings without cutting off one of your fucking highlights.
Bro, you are killing the video by talking 5 minutes straight as an intro. I'm a patient man because I'm older but if your goal is to introduce this gem to others then just stop rambling...Jesus Christ. Yeah, it is your video you do whatever suits you but talking this much and moving at such a pace will turn away even old people. Young Tik-Tok brain rtard people will listen to 15 seconds and they will just watch another video NO MATTER how great this game is.
@@KillerKrieg How can you be sure though. Jokes aside, I think you might like Unlimited Adventures.or the Dungeon Craft project keeping it alive today. Thanks for covering these older games. I have nothing against newer games in general but these classics deserve more love.
@@KillerKrieg Unlimited Adventures is a part of the "gold box", they are available on Steam and GOG and currently on a 60% sale on Steam. Dungeon Craft is hosted on Source Forge. Also, you should know that I believe the free-to-play overwatch-copycat arena-shooter game "Paladins" is a direct sequel to this game. I'm not sure but around 93% certain.
1988 was the year of Bards Tales, Dungeon Masters, Might & Magics, Wizardrys, Ultimas, Wasteland, and various SSI classics at the peak of AD&D mania. So yeah, a LOT of other games went under the radar.

Hello, I wanted to point out that I think your idea is pretty cool and I like the idea of a long-form in character playthrough. I think it was actually pretty unique that you didn't actually have your character say anything until they COULD, it was pretty damn immersing.
Oh man thank you so much. This is also ironman so if I die it will end. I have done a few other things of this type, my best work(IMO) was my SNES Shadowrun roleplay of the same type which can be found in a playlist called Never Cut a Deal with a Dragon.
Much appreciated man. I mostly do gameplay videos of different games I like but every once in a while I do an ironman roleplay like this. I have another for the SNES shadowrun structured exactly like this called never cut a deal with a Dragon.
So a couple of takeaways I have from this as I recorded it for future study - a couple of hits that should have landed phased right through the enemy, ESPECIALLY that Kensei, near the end an attack that phased through him happened WHILE HE WAS ATTACKING. That's not lag - that's a lag switch most likely. Despite all of this semi-obvious cheating they were still getting their asses kicked(cheaters often suck at the game) and still set to lose. RIght around second 48 to 46 I'd say I notice that the seconds started counting down around twice as fast, and on second 10 the timer jumped from 10 seconds to 0:00 suddenly, something I've never seen before. This is the most sus display I've ever seen during a breach game.
So the servers still exist and can be connected to, yes, but nobody is playing them. You'd have to get some friends together in advance if you want it to be populated. When my friends and I play it, we largely use Hamachi and connect to servers that I build myself from scratch with custom rules/bots.
Oh bro I absolutely fell in love with it. I saw it on a list of top half life mods, and I have always been Mr. Vampire hater and been surprised by how few vampire slaying games are out there. This game just proves there would be a market for it because I'd buy/play the shit out of a campaign that played like this, especially if it had coop.
Thank you man, this is the tail end of a quest I did to get it here about a year ago. It's funny I went through all that shit to get the Lion Heart and I didn't even test it out on some poor creatures XD
I am actually pretty certain it does. It used to at least, I am not 100% how to do it now though, but they used to be in the landscapes list. They might still be there, keep in mind there was 3 pages of landscape.
Yeah I admittedly got carried away trying to show off everything XD but funnily enough I really didn't even show half of what this game has to offer. I regret not showing off Scimitarilla.
It really is funny how some of the best games on Steam are completely free. Legit free too, so no micro transactions or anything like that. If you also wanted to host your own multiplayer server with friends, (without needing to port forward your internet router), I would recommend using a program called Radmin VPN. When you and anyone else you are playing with are using it, it basically tricks every game into thinking you are all connected under a LAN server together. So then you just have one person host / create a LAN type server and everyone else also connected with Radmin should be able to join. I use it with friends all the time and it works really well. It’s even super useful for if you want to play a game together that no longer has servers running for it.
Mine too man. This game is indelibly romantic and happy to me and to say it holds a special place in my heart is an understatement. It is one of my favorite romance stories ever, and sadly it's one of the only romantic stories in gaming I can name that has actual relationship development.
